the True Shot message is extremely annoying. I've turned it off but it still always pops up and it won't let me shoot.

Other than that it always says I keep hitting "slow" shots and my ball is always slicing. Only played one round of golf, was doing well until I completely collapsed on the 16th hole hitting a quadruple bogey haha. It went water, Bunker, bunker, and triple putt.

I don't think this game has cloud sync on PC. That can't be true can it?
I have a gaming laptop and desktop and I can't continue progress. When I go into steam and right click the game, under properties and updates where the cloud sync option is for every other game I own, there is nothing. If that in fact is the case, that sucks real hard. I do not want to have to constantly transfer with USB.

Im brutal at this game in nearly every facet...even on the lowest difficulty, I simply suck.

I haven't played a golf game since TW14 so its been a long time. TGC never seemed to interest me until I saw the trailers for PGA2K21. That said, this thing is brutal and I'm on the lowest level as well. Putting's been murder. It's a good brutal and I'm having fun with it. I'll need lots of practice here just like real life golf (i'm a hacker not a golfer). User created courses will keep this fresh for a long time. If your on the fence, take the plunge.

I already out a refund request in. I dont have the time its going to take to get better at this game.

I was horribly yesterday. I mean just horrible. I’ve played about 10 rounds today and just shot -12 on pro am difficulty. I’ve gotten some much better in just 2 days.

Playing on Pro level i had my best game ever...i never had a good game in GC19 lol. I actually took first today with a 7 under at the Korn Ferry tourney

Enjoying the game. I am struggling with it. Played about 7 rounds and my best round is still only +2 on Pro so have a lot of work to do. But I like that it is challenging for me. I still do like the putting from TGC 19 better but overall I am pleased with the game.

I’m getting a kick out of everyone complaining that previous games were too easy, to now complain it’s too hard.

For me it’s not the game is too hard it’s just has some areas that need to be tweaked. For me putting is a crap shoot at times. I just shot even par on Pro but 4/5 putts killed me that I normally would have no issues with. Other than that I’m loving the challenge that this game is presenting.

Only thing I agree with is the speed of the backswing of the putter needs to be addressed (no pun intended) but please leave the difficulty alone. Inside 2 feet shouldn’t be a gimme on a regular basis. Overall I’m enjoying the crap out of this game trying to shoot par with master clubs. I’ve got the swing plane down, just need to work the timing. It keeps making me want to come back and shoot lower. Graphics are leaps and bounds better than 2019, and the camera angles are a really nice touch.

Overall I think the game is good, no problems with it. Master clubs is definitely tough but I think the club selection is a bigger impact than difficulty level itself. Putting backswing speed is fine to me, youre not supposed to pull the stick back 100% like a full swing.

Just keep playing round after round after round. Been years since I did that with a new golf game

Playing pro am with most of the assists off and no meter (percentage only) and shooting anywhere from +7 to -7 in PGA tour

Really fun just the right amount of frustration. Yes the putting is not as intuitive as last year but spend some time on putting green practicing and dialing in distances. Helped a lot. As some have said speed of putting swing or tempo is not factored. So just stoke it smoothly back and forth. Barely have to follow through actually if you take the proper back stroke with putter

Oh and experiment with "distance control' off in assists

Game is awesome!

I’m playing on Pro but with Pro-Am for my swing and it’s been tough. Steadily improving every round and hopefully I can beat Q-School on my 3rd attempt. So far it’s been very challenging and fun.

For those struggling with short putts, are you bringing the RS down slowly and not all the way? That was my biggest issue early on when I was 4-putting every hole; I was bringing the RS all the way down. Once I shortened up I started putting significantly better.

I can see why some dont like the putting but I love it once i got used to it. You really gotta feather that right stick. It actually makes a lot of sense to me now that I am used to it. Putting is so much more delicate than swinging off a tee, and I really appreciate what they were trying to replicate with the finesse of it. Adds a level not just jamming on sticks.
