Popped the game back in today and I gotta come back and say that the issue appeared to be on me. The sensitivity I guess I was just not used to after having put the game down for awhile and I fixed the issue by not pulling all the way down on the stick for the backswing, instead just easing it down to get it initiated and then pushing it forward on the downswing.

I guess my fingers were so used to the flick flick style swing of the last few iterations and I didn’t think to ease back a little. Game is running smooth and now that the putting glitch is gone I feel confident that I can continue on in the career mode. Just wrapped up FedEx cup championship and on to season two.

I just got a surprising update on the status of my XBox Series X order from Walmart. It was originally shown as "Arrives by January 8th". I just got a tracking update from Fed-Ex saying it will be delivered before the end of the day on the 22nd!?

This latest patch might actually mean something to me now! I still don't think the auto-HDR and lower latency controller input is going to be enough to pull me away from the PC version, on which I'm able to play the game at 60 FPS... on a gaming PC that's at least 20% less powerful than the Series X!?
