Wonder whether they’ll fix the leaderboard and career mode bugs. I’ll buy if - and only if - that’s addressed.Comment

I sure hope so. Rory may have been bare but at least it’s small things worked after 2 monthsComment

I like the benefits of games being connected. Really doesn’t bother me, other than how it totally dorks up Quick Resume.
It’s every single sports game. That ship sailed. It really shouldn’t even be a topic, as it will be, because that drives other features gamers like, and features publishers like.
Imagine you're stuck playing just the 15 real courses in the game and a few that were designed in TGCT19 that got ported over as "HB Official" courses. That's not a fun experience...and it happened plenty of times during 2K21's life cycle, because their servers for this game are hot garbage. The only other thing you can do is design, which is nice, because playing the official courses in 2K21 gets old fast.Orbis Non SuficitComment

The problem with 2K21 (and maybe this is only really an issue for them, given all the user created content that's housed on servers and not in players' hard drives) is that if the servers are ever down, NONE of the created courses are available. At all. And that's the biggest appeal of the game.

At least the 15 real ones are on disc, and while it’s not the same, the workaround is creating your own and not publish them. Then you can play ‘‘em offline if my memory is correct.Comment

So if you don't design courses at all, you'll have nothing else to play other than the official ones as local matches when the servers are down. No societies, no career mode even. Nada.Last edited by MrArlingtonBeach; 05-22-2022, 01:17 AM.Orbis Non SuficitComment

Well, you can play courses you haven't published offline, yes. And you can playtest courses you're working on in the designer, too. But you can't play anyone else's courses.

Exactly, big downside.
But at least your created courses will live the test of time. I put on a lot of time creating my local par 3 so it’s nice to not be dependent on servers for that.Comment

Yep, I'm sure they are. I can see it coming tomorrow or this week for one last promo push for the 2 year old game:
"JT ROCKS the PGA with a win at the PGA Championship!"
Ugh. I hope they don't do this.Comment

It was have been gold if they had a picture of JTs PS2 model in their game with the massive hat and hot dog putter on the green below the tweet though. [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]🤣🤣🤣Comment
