Will 2K21 courses automatically port over, or will it be up to course creators to move them over manually?

I would be surprised if anything changed with this...course designers have had to port over courses themselves ever since TGC2 came out, so it would think it's safe to assume courses won't port over automatically.

I suppose it doesn't hurt to verify, though.

I'm sure course designers will have to port them, it would make no sense to port all of them. There's a lot of garbage in there that no one wants to play.

Speaking of course design I have no idea why they removed the ability to see who created the course if it was done on a platform other than what you re playing. They also removed the other courses done by this creator. Don't know why they've gone backwards.

I think the putting is fine.
Swing results have to be revamped.
Pot bunkers.
A proper green side bunker shot.
Caddies and opponents visible while playing.
Fix the zombie crowds.
Fix career.

I won't pay full price this time around for what might amount to a DLC for 21. Interested to see what if anything Tiger brings to the game. I don't care about clubs clothes or balls.

Well, yes, but automatically porting user courses that have hundreds of thousands of plays should be done.

Thanks for the responses so far. Again, no guarantees etc. but I do want to try to improve the outreach with 2K23 since the audience just seems to at least want to hear more -- even if it's not always what they want to hear, they at least want to hear something.

As an aside to questions about this specific release, it’d be great if they’d commit to engage with their community “somewhere”.

The HB forum is a graveyard with old users hanging on and spam posts all over and unmoderated …. And there was supposed to be engagement on the 2k forums which never really materialized (and that place is WAY over moderated)..

…I’ve seen 2k golf fans, many times, comment that 2k/HB basically only engage when it’s time to pump something up and ask for more money.

When it comes to responding to issues, requests, bug fixes, tweaks post release — it feels like they flat out don’t care (both HB and 2K)

It’d be amazing if they’d acknowledge that and maybe have some plans to engage more ….somewhere online

This is very good, and would be something to definitely ask.

I would also add that I know that some in the "NextMaker" program feel it's not used to its potential. I would ask them how the NextMaker program would be used in the run-up to release, and what we will be seeing as part of the information roll out, if they can share that.

Has the swing mechanic been changed such that swing path determines hook/slice and tempo determines push/pull?

Will there be an option in the graphics settings to disable vsync for XBox Series X and PS5 owners, who also own a Variable Reset Rate capable display? This option is there for the PC version of PGA 2K21.

Another thing I forgot to mention. Please fix the handicap system. If I consistently shoot 4 to 6 under I do not have a handicap of -20 or something like that. There has to be something wrong with the coding in this game if they can't address stuff like this and career.

All I want to know is can we PLEASE play career mode OFFLINE and can it actually work as intended? Meaning the leaderboard glitch is fixed amongst the other game breaking bugs inside of the mode.

This! No reason 2k23 can’t let you play career offline, all courses used in career are saved on disc.

- is the schedule customizable...can created courses be swapped in non-official events?

- Do different pro's have different characteristics, or is every golfer the same?

- What, if any, changes to the swing have been made? Did they include any alternative swing methods (ie like the 3 click swing). (NEVERMIND, ANSWERED ALREADY)
