Started struggling with super slow tempo again. Pretty sure its my xbox controller left thumbstick thats the issue. To much Call Of duty and clicking in left stick to run is what caused it. Call of duty was made to ruin controllers lol.
My right stick i swing and its super fast everytime. The right stick feels brand new and the left stick is super loose. Controller only 2 months old too.

I believe the warranty for controllers is 3 months, put in a claim. I had a controller replaced shortly after launch because the left stick went wonky. They sent out a new one then emailed and told me not to bother sending the broken one back so I fixed it and now have a spare, lol.

That's odd that you're hitting slow, my problem has always been hitting too fast. My PS5 controller is almost a year old now, but even on PS4 with 2k21, my tendency is always too fast hooks. I wish I had your problem lol. A slow tendency is much easier to fix than a fast or very fast one, trust me lol

That's odd that you're hitting slow, my problem has always been hitting too fast. My PS5 controller is almost a year old now, but even on PS4 with 2k21, my tendency is always too fast hooks. I wish I had your problem lol. A slow tendency is much easier to fix than a fast or very fast one, trust me lol

Left stick is not working. Using the right stick and same problem you have., Ive got it where my tempo is just a little fast every swing so i just aim a little right and hit a draw. Going for perfect is a bonus. We never hit it dead straight in real life either.

So after about 20 hours of playing all weekend here are my findings.
Trying to hit 100% on your driver and iron swings is what causes the most trouble with tempo

The reason so is because i take my stick back to the top and the club is still traveling to the top on my Television screen. The club does not move in real time with the right stick. So if you take it back average speed you have to wait for the meter to get to 100.. If i take a smooth swing back and forward without stopping my tempo is usually pretty good at the sacrifice of trying to hit 100%

That also means my shots power is only 93% to 97% when swinging in a fluid motion.. Thats what makes the partial swings so hard, is the waiting on the club. Are there any fixes for this? Do other golfers or builds take it back quicker to match my stick tempo in real life?

Nope. I have found that drives tend to stay in the fairway if you swing under 100% but trying to get anywhere near the pin is going to be difficult if you can't at least get close to 100.
