Re: EA Sports PGA TOUR Impressions (Console)
I'm no expert on this kind of thing but I am reading that the consoles are just not capable of handling this game the way it is constructed to handle 60fps.Comment

Re: EA Sports PGA TOUR Impressions (Console)
Games looks great, and plays solid in the brief time I’ve played. Wondering, is there a driving range? Or just Trackman challenges? I haven’t gone that far, but would be nice to practice on the range. Can’t find it.Comment

Re: EA Sports PGA TOUR Impressions (Console)
After playing around with settings for about a hr or so loving the game
Using DJ i was +3 after 9 at Augusta
My only 2 grips
Camera when it follows the ball
Putt meter is brutal
If they can fix these 2 issues it will be a great gameComment

I couldn't find it either. Or an option to watch replays? Not a biggie as can use the PS5 recording, but still.Comment

Re: EA Sports PGA TOUR Impressions (Console)
I’m really liking this. Went 67-72 so far in the US Am. Bandon looks incredible.
Just need to work on the chipping and putting. I’m either blasting it by the hole or coming up incredibly short.

Re: EA Sports PGA TOUR Impressions (Console)
Odd as we know from the career mode preview that you can select rounds for different events.
Leads me to believe the build we currently have is old and it will be patched before Friday. Might explain why the game appears unfinished.
For the person who asked about your created golfer at the start of career. You can build your player up in quick rounds before you start.NCAA: Georgia Bulldogs and Clemson Tigers

Re: EA Sports PGA TOUR Impressions (Console)
I would hope you can delete a created golfer and restart their career mode. I usually like to restart career modes later on once I've gotten a handle on the game and make things hard for myself. That would also make it harder for me to test things. Does 2K limit to one created golfer?NCAA: Georgia Bulldogs and Clemson Tigers

In 2K you can just reset your career. That way you still keep everything you’ve earned but can start over career wise.Comment

Re: EA Sports PGA TOUR Impressions (Console)
Just watched ApexHound's latest career mode video. He went thru the entire PGA Tour season schedule.
Looks like multiple courses will be duplicated, at least in the early goings after release, to fill out a full 32-week schedule.
- Pebble Beach is the host for the AT&T Pro Am in week 3 and the Tiburon Championship in week 17.
- TPC Sawgrass hosts The Players in week 8 and the Sawgrass Invitational in week 20.
- Banff Springs hosts events in weeks 21 and 26 (week 26's event is an alt event that runs during the Open Championship).
- The Wetlands hosts events in weeks 6 and 10 (week 10's event is an alt event that runs during the EA Championship at Chambers Bay - the equivalent of a WGC event).
- Lighthouse Pointe hosts events in weeks 7 and 24 (week 7's event is an alt event that runs during the Arnold Palmer Invitational).
-TPC Scottsdale hosts the WM Phoenix Open in week 4 and the Arizona Classic in week 28.
- Wolf Creek hosts events in weeks 14 and 25 (week 25's event is an alt event that runs during the Dominican Open)
I think that was it in terms of repeats, but hopefully they can add the new courses in later and reduce those.Last edited by MrArlingtonBeach; 04-05-2023, 10:37 AM.Orbis Non SuficitComment
