I've been watching a lot of videos for the game. Question how many cameras are available on your full shots and can you change any of them during ball flight?

So I downloaded the time trial for this game and for SMB 4 another EA title. I seem to be caught in a loop and someone must have hacked my account moons ago.

The games won't let me connect online and when I try to connect it says an email will be sent to an email address that is not and never was mine.

Going online to EA and Playstation does nothing but get me in an endless loop. I created an account with EA and they have sent me codes to verify the address which I did but when I try to play these EA titles I keep getting the same message about the sending a code to an email address that is not mine. I go to EA and they show my correct address but when I try to play these games I keep getting the same bs. Tried every search for this problem it seems this has been going on now for many years. Any ideas except maybe just play 2k23 and MLB The show?

Have you tried going over to ea.com and just creating a new account then linking your psn? Might just have to go to the main site and create a new one. Could be your account on ea might’ve just been deactivated.

That was the first thing I did. Like I said they sent a code to this new addy the one I have had for over 10 years now and I also verified this address.

Now seems as if Super Mega 4 would let me play and save progress so I could play seasons. It actually has my PS username showing within the game and saves my selected egos all across the board but EA PGA Golf still presents the same error message. I can play any course with any of the golfers but can't seem to create a player.

Never would have believed it but a guy on EA chat solved the problem quickly.

The biggest presentation element I would LOVE added to this game is this....

When teeing off to start a hole, in the top right corner where it has your name and score, I would love it if they showed how you fared on that hole each round. (Just like CBS does)

For example if you are on the 4th hole a par 5. And it's round 4 (Sunday) A little drop down would pop up under your golfers name saying...

Round 1: Par
Round 2: Birdie
Round 3: Birdie

One thing my wife and I noticed that is oddly missing is when you're playing another player, to have a little scoreboard somewhere that always shows the score between the two players, or at least shows it after every hole.

Am I missing something or did I turn something off? I don't ever remember seeing this. It obviously shows you your score when you're shooting, but again unless I'm missing something, it doesn't show the two player's scores together or their scorecards until the end of the round?

It's on the top-left. It just flashes for a few seconds, I believe at the end of each hole.

They need to have something permanent.

I just had my first issue of why I hate this online connection to play. In the middle of PGA Championship lost connection and had to exit. It's why I refuse to play cloud franchise in Madden.

100% agree - i think this with scoring averages for specific holes by the rest of the field would add to the experience.

One of the TWs games had this, and Powerstar Golf, of all games had a feature in which it tracked your ranking on each hole, and if you hit a longest drive among your friends, you got a notification. Same with close approaches and long putts.

Obviously, this could also work on a tournament level in Career, but would go long ways towards increasing engagement.

Real life golf is all about sharing your scores and great shots with friends.

I just watched ApexHound's most recent video, playing the 3rd round of the Open at St Andrews, and noticed that the leaderboard shown behind the 18th green is the exact same one in Rory McIllroy PGA Tour, as it has the names of the licensed pros from that game on it - names like Fowler, Jimenez, Kaymer, Blixt, Mahan, and Dufner...



So anyone who figured EA essentially just re-used assets from the Rory game in this new one is definitely not wrong...

I sprung for a PS5 and got a month worth of EA Play fir 5 bucks. 10 hour trial of this game have managed more than a few hours into it using my created golfer.
I hear people say their dream golf game would be EA graphics with 2k game play. Not for me.

Everything I thought was awful about this game watching videos has proven true at least to me. The swing from full to putting is God awful. There is no connection to the golfer in the game. Cameras are bad and lacking variety.

I think the graphics are awful and I know I am in the minority but hey that's my opinion. The golfer's face at least my female character looks decent in game but the courses look bad to me. Feels like you're swinging the club underwater. Hard pass at any price.
