I kind of think that's the point. A video game would be the only way we mere mortals could ever find ourselves teeing it up at exclusive clubs like Pine Valley or Augusta National.
Exactly, that's a big reason why I included courses like PV, Sand Hills, and Cypress in there. I know EA wanted to feature some more hard-to-access courses and so I thought it would be fun to include these exclusive courses on the list mixed in with public courses as well (Erin Hills, I should've included you).

And I'm definitely Team Public/Muni but some of these exclusive places are great as well and being able to play them in the game would give us a unique experience as you said. Would be fun.
    NBA: Chicago Bulls

    NFL: Chicago Bears, Atlanta Falcons

MLB: Chicago White Sox (pray for me)

College: Northwestern, UIC, Notre Dame, Alabama, College of DuPage

Football (Soccer): Chicago Fire and Liverpool

Anyway, to answer the article, I'd add Erin Hills to the list. More former major venues so that EA can implement the rotational system in career mode again.
I know several normal people who have played on private ultra exclusive courses including Oak Hill. It does happen.

Agreed - we even have a forum member here who has been able to play many of the great private courses across the country. I won't say his name because we still aren't on speaking terms for not inviting me when he was here to play Oakmont.

Not sure why being private would alter this list at all.

It really shouldn’t. I’ve been lucky enough to play The Ace Club in Philadelphia (twice) and Jupiter Hills, in Jupiter Florida (once).
