I think everyone knew the big updates weren’t coming. This was just an opportunity to set expectations high so we could then have the predictable disappointment.

Personally, I don’t think any of the updates are going to make a certain set of gamers happy. They just offer more opportunities to compare and complain.

Won my first tourney and qualified for the masters. Im starting to collect a decent amount of gold in the online tourneys. Never gonna hit the prime rewards, but the gold I get for the time I put in is worth it.

Moar better is fine. But they could not add a single update, other than courses, and I’d be happy. And I don’t need a ton of new courses.

If anything, they need to invest time in creating a better online experience. They need an easy way for users to set up tournaments to play with their own group of friends. As it is, I’m not interested in the online play they have, other than the public tournaments.

My score now comes up as "E" no matter what I shot. It shows me atop the leaderboard at "E" when I'm actually at -10. And no, this isn't the Tour Championship. In fact, one screen showed the entire leaderboard at "E." This needs fixed pronto.

Every update has been kinda like this, with weird glitches for about a day. Seems like there is an issue with the cloud stuff. It’s why o really wasn’t worried about jumping in and playing it today. Noticed there are no tournaments now either.

But everything seems to pop back into place after a day.

Yes, and right now, this game is basically void of any online longevity. I don't go for the tournaments. There's literally no reason to play online unless it's with a friend.

Don't we all just love that these golf games' career modes require online connections all the time? The experience is just so, so much better!

In all seriousness, I hope that gets sorted soon. It looks like it might just be cosmetic, and the scores are still accurate since not everyone is showing as actually tied at E.

Yeah, I despise the online requirement. That is why I never bought the 2K golf game.

I'm going to back up my Xbox before I pull this patch.

I think I saw in the patch notes that they "fixed" the leaderboard to show E for players that hadn't started yet. This might be a byproduct of that patch and I'm guessing they will get it sorted pretty quickly.

I'm betting the 60 fps thing is them really trying to keep the fidelity and overall look of the game as high as possibility because they know so many people are going to switch to that graphics mode as soon as it's available. Like 95% of people. If the game looks not great in that mode then it'll be a bummer.

I think you are WAY overestimating how many people actually care about fps or performance mode.

And most people, if they notice the option, will try them both, choose one and never think about it again.

A good amount cared for them to try and get it in. As far as noticing the difference in fidelity I hardly notice it with 2k and Madden.
