Rory a possibility as an added PGA pro? Would work well with Royal Port Rush.

PGA 2K25 is launching with 27 licensed courses, per a 2K NextMaker who shared a screenshot of a correction issued in regards to yesterday's press release.
So the list we were shown earlier today is the full list at launch.Last edited by MrArlingtonBeach; 01-15-2025, 05:34 PM.Orbis Non SuficitComment

Excited to see what this is like when it finally releases
At this stage, it’s like looking at somebody’s online dating profile … we have no idea what they’ll be like when they show up in person at the caféComment

Re: PGA Tour 2K25 Trailer, Screenshots, Features and More Revealed
For me, I'm most excited (and concerned) with the new swing. The strength of this game is the gameplay and the difficulty options in my opinion. I hope they don't take options away or dumb down the swing (there was one screenshot I saw that showed swing results with no mention of tempo which has me concerned).
EA Golf would have been awesome for me if the gameplay and pace of play was like 2K. So my hope for 2K25 is for slightly refined gameplay, keeping difficulty options as they were, better graphics and better career mode.
My concerns are messing around too much with mechanic, pay to win (I hate season passes in games that you paid money to buy), and making the game too easy.Comment

Hope I'm wrong... but there's a lot of add in this game. And it's just for current generation consoles and with improved graphics, not the old ones anymore. So to me, it looks like they're going to continue to work with this game engine.Comment

It really devalues the price I’m willing to pay.Comment

Re: PGA Tour 2K25 Trailer, Screenshots, Features and More Revealed
My guess is that 2K doesn't have much to do with the actual game. They bought HB studios to make the game, and 2K is the publisher in the background making the business deals like Tiger and the 3 Majors. Much like EA doesn't have much to do with the F1 game, they bought Codemasters and they continue to make the game.Comment

I'm not knocking it, it's how all games are released. Just saying.Comment

Re: PGA Tour 2K25 Trailer, Screenshots, Features and More Revealed
I don't think that'll be the case, since 2K23 is only being included with preorders to "play while you wait" for 2K25. And no previous 2K/HB golf game required you have the previous one to play the new one...that said, even including 2K23 with preorders is kind of odd. I'd imagine most who are preordering 2K25 already have 2K23 anyway.Last edited by MrArlingtonBeach; 01-16-2025, 07:06 AM.Orbis Non SuficitComment

It’s a strange approach to promoting a new game almost like 2K feel they haven’t given value for money with there product straight off the bat (or club).Comment

I view this quite the opposite. They’re giving you the prior game to wet your appetite. And if you design you can port courses over with the new versionhttp://pcfriars1213.blogspot.com/ - Coaching Career of Ed Cooley College Hoops 2k8Comment

Re: PGA Tour 2K25 Trailer, Screenshots, Features and More Revealed
PGA 2K23 is just a pre-order bonus...it's not a selling point of the 2K25 game itself. I agree it's kind of weird, in terms that most people preordering 2K25 likely already have 2K23...and those who don't will only play 2K23 for a month, but it's not like it's a requirement to have it to play 2K25, or it's a selling point of the actual 2K25 game. It's like getting the 7-day early access...it's just something to get people to pony up early.
And it's a free game if you don't have 2K23, that you get to play basically as soon as you preorder...seems like kind of a neat thing in that case.Last edited by MrArlingtonBeach; 01-16-2025, 09:27 AM.Orbis Non SuficitComment
