I had all sorts of difficulty doing what you're describing. I finally got it done and I'm not really sure what or how I finally got it done. It took seven or eight tries... I remember that.

Same. That was my first interaction with the game - having to jump through a massive amount of hoops just to play the darn thing. I don't know what I ultimately did to get it to work; at some point I just re-did everything and it seemed to work. Silly.

Didn't get off on the right foot with this game, needless to say.

Does someone want to tell HB that tournament golf courses don't lay out all the tee markers for all tees during tournament weeks? This is obviously small potatoes, but it continues to irritate me after all this time and this many games, that even in official tournaments that have specialized tee markers (e.g. the little dump trucks at the Waste Management Open), they put tee markers on every tee. That's not what happens - there are 1 set of tee markers, at the designated tee for that day. They don't put little dump trucks on the men's tee, women's tee, senior tee, etc.



Anyways..../end rant.

This has driven me insane ever since they got the PGA license. Every iteration I hope they finally fix it and they still never have, it’s a visual eye sore and looks silly. This wasn’t an issue in the EA game so I’m assuming it’s something that can be fixed.

It’s probably because there are different tee options in the game. Not saying you’re wrong by any means. You can still play from the blue white and red tees. They probably just didn’t want to make another set of markers.

Yes, almost certainly correct. As I said, it's not the biggest deal in the world, but once you notice it, it is mildly irritating.

Last night I was messing around with the demo and on the par 3 16th, I hit driver and drove the ball over the stands behind the green. I figured it would tell me it was out of bounds and to tee again, but instead I played the ball.

So my 2nd shot was behind the grandstands, hitting blind to the green. I actually did pretty well landing the ball about 20 feet from the hole, but two putted for bogey.

My goal now is to keep doing this to see if I can get a ball within 5 ft of the hole, or better yet into the hole.

Gameplay has changed significantly since the demo, and even since the Early Access version released.

Howdy, just now tried the DEMO, coming from 2K21. In 2K21 we always had the green/lie grids OFF, but on the green one could move the cursor on the green to pick up changes in slope, +/-, and became very skilled at putting, even long putts with severe breaks I would make the odd one, ala JJ Spaun. In the 2K25 DEMO this feature is not present when the green grid is OFF. Does anyone know if there is a way to restore the information indicating how many inches up or down the putt would be relative to your ball? If that's gone now and it's only possible to read greens w/ the grid, that is a massive no buy for me, won't touch it with a 10' long handled putter! Lemme know what cha know thanks

I think you just need to find the setting for "Aim Marker" in Difficulty settings and make sure it's set to "On". That should allow distance and elevation to be shown on the aim marker.
