The odd loading screens only happened to me once so far, and the rounds loaded fine.

The bigger issue for me is the MyCareer leaderboards. In that Jalisco Championship that I loaded into with the weird screens, I finished in T6 at -4...Xander Schauffele won again - this time with a score of -24. The gap between first and sixth should not be 20 shots!

The good news is that these issues have been reported...now we wait to see if they fix them.

I think today's patch was to fix some of the hot button issues that had popped up outside of the ones fixed on Friday, the AP cap glitch in particular was allowing some to ignore the caps which is obviously fairly balance-breaking. Hopefully some of the less ASAP ones are now getting treated like PGA leaderboards and PS5 screen tear

If you can’t have a separate tour for LPGA then either make up names to create one or just have ladies for quick play. Having an LPgA player be a rival and part of standings just takes away from the realism. And you can’t even turn off the rivalries.

Game is fun, which what looks like plenty of replayability.

Problems-- most of them-- stem from extremely slow menus, freezes between menus, and general server instability.

So performance is lacking, at least on the PS5. Most of the issues, at least for me, happen when going from menu to menu. Sometimes it just locks up; other times it's like waiting in line at the unemployment office.

(psn MellorcaMitch, play Master, generally. Add for some casual, etc., rounds)

I know there's been some frustration from me around the screen tearing, MyCareer leaderboards, and other bugs but I will say...

The golf/gameplay in PGA 2K25 is wonderful. The short game (chipping, pitching, flops) is tough, the EvoSwing is the best use of the diagonal shot I've ever experienced in a video game, and putting requires attention - 5 to 10 footers are not automatic anymore.

The shot types are fun, and while some are maybe overpowered, they don't break the game like EA's did.

I am really enjoying playing the game, a lot. It's much more fresh and is a significant jump from 2K23, whereas 2K21 to 2K23 was basically the same game mechanically.

Yeah, outside career mode, the ranked tours will be where a lot of time is spent, I assume. Daily and Weekly events in there. Societies and ranked online, too, as well as the usual local rounds, casual online, Topgolf (they tie Quests to it this year, so I might actually play it...), etc.

Quests give decent VC, and you earn VC from sponsors in career mode, the clubhouse pass, and just playing rounds. You can earn it pretty easily.

Been updated today that preorder won’t be dispatched until March. Why 2K can’t get this game in stores is beyond me. No way I’m paying premium on digital versions.

For anyone new to 2K, long time 3-click EA PGA player here (over 1.5K hours in career mode), and haven't played a 2K golf game before. So far I'm loving 2K25. To me so far, it has pretty much everything EA's career mode had and more. If you're a 3 click player, it's easy to pick up 2K's take on it. Difficulty levels are very customizable which is nice. Reason I'm posting this is for casual players that play A LOT. Putting so much time into EA PGA, I was hesitant to make the jump, but to me it's very worth it. Very fresh, new start. Won't lie though I put commentary volume down to zero. Very much feels like jumping from golf on TV (EA) to being on the course (2K). I can see myself putting in 1K plus hours into this. Or maybe I should make it......2K plus hours! (sorry).

Thanks for the reply.
I thought I found info just after I posted and deleted my post but it didn't answer my questions.

Career mode questions about tournaments that I had and you answered.

Is it like 10 tournaments or what seems like a full schedule?
Are there official tournaments with some fictional?
Can you replace or edit tournaments and use a custom course?

You can swap out host courses of fictional events...go into the season schedule, highlight the event you want to swap the course for and press A/X and a "Swap Course" option is available.

You can only choose "official" courses...real licensed ones and the fictional ones from their hired community designers.
