Do you have a hybrid evolved as well? Pretty sure you need it. Would be odd to still have the in game screen showing the reward but not give it.

Why would you need a hybrid? I haven´t heard of anyone actually getting the reward? They point you to the quest tab for it but it doesn´t show up there at all.

I know you needed an evolved hybrid to complete the quest, whether it's still active is hard to say.

No I've never evolved a complete bag, this is info I read on another forum.

Such a mystery. Weeks of gogling hasnt helped. I completed chp 1 now have two evo tools Just need to buy one but I am 95b% sure it wont work

Yes I got conned. Spent 750 vc on evo tool got the hybrids to amethyst no reward

Watching this 2K25 stuff from a distance, reminds me of commercials for Fruit Stripe gum. All the excitement of all of the flavors, only to try it and be disappointed after about 90 secs. when the flavor disappears. So glad I save $70 thus far.

I don't think anyone can be too disappointed with this one. There was (and I think still is) a playable demo that is accurate to how the game plays. There are tons of difficulty options. For offline, I think almost anyone could set it up to get a good golf experience.

Online is where it is more an issue. Everyone then needs to be a 99 overall. You feel the need to get your clubs upgraded to the top level. You need to unlock the shot types. They don't have a handicap system so the tournaments aren't fun unless you are good enough to shoot ridiculous scores. TGC Tours is a good society option (but still suffers from some of the same competitive things).

I personally wish the club level ups and most of the shot types didn't exist. I think the game plays the best when you are a 65OVR to start the game without extra shot types--especially for online play. Offline you can do whatever you feel recreates golf for you and your difficulty level.

Overall, I think this is probably the best playing golf game there is. Graphically some may prefer EA Golf. Historically some of the Tiger games were fun. But in my opinion PGA2K25 gives you the options to play as a good of a game of golf as any golf video game and I have played most of the video golf games since the 1980s.

Career on perfect swing against easy ai is a quick way to vc and xp points.
