I looked everywhere I could within the society, could not find a way to control the VC payouts. Looks like it's out of our control, at least for me as an admin.

I dug into this a bit, and the only fee options I see show up when setting up events.

There is a slider that adjusts the "Fee % Contributed to the Purse", and an option to add a Bonus Purse. Other than that, I don't know exactly how VC payouts work in Societies...will have to look again when the current event ends to see if anyone actually gets any winnings.

Interesting, thanks for looking into that. I have noticed a statistic in the society around total winnings which may be related to VC, but it doesn't specify what the winnings are.

Very interested in joining this when I buy the game this week. The Discord server link keeps saying invalid, so maybe it expired? Is that where most of the discussion of this society takes place?

Also, when I join the society do you join with a specific created golfer? Does that golfer "level up" in society rounds or is that all offline grinding? It's been a minute since The Golf Club 2 for me lol.

You can use any created golfer (there’s up to 10 slots in this game) for any round you want, and you do earn XP and VC to level them up from your society rounds just like you would in Career Mode.

So i am usually +8 golfer or Pro swing difficulty, but now i played first round -9 and second round -4. It was crazy! Never played par or better with Pro difficulty.

Course might been little easier, but i also got many perfect swings and only few bad ones. One bad swing ended up on water, but otherwise my approach game was excellent and most drives were on fairway. Usually 90% of my swings are heavy rough or bunker.

I guess there is still hope for me to fully change to Pro difficulty if i am not hitting bogies every hole anymore.

This was an easier course. I shot a -28 (-16, -12) over the two rds. Never have I ever shot that good before.

Just an FYI, I've switched the character I use for this society to a new Magician one that I think should make things more fun for everyone. Gonna try how it goes if I upgrade nothing on the contact/swing path side, including shot types. I enjoyed the experience at the Lone Grove event, I think it should work moving forward. Now if the devs could just fix that course so we don't get the same pins every round.

Just a reminder to everyone that we have an event up now that runs until tomorrow, and we will also have a mid-week "Par-3 Contest", just like the real-life pros will.
