Re: AR and forza question
Well Keirik, I got around to downloading that AR file that is supposed to unlock everything but that sh*t doesn't work (as you said).
What that file seems to be is a Drivatar but not much else. I compared the block size in the XBox Memory menu and the AR file is significantly smaller than a default profile freshly created in Forza.
They need to remove that file from Codejunkies because it does not work as advertised.Comment

Re: AR and forza question
I don't know if you still want/need this, but I saw it floating around another forum. I haven't tested it personally, but everyone there swears it works.
Create a new profile with the following names:
nOsLiW
Starts the game at level 50 with all cars and tracks unlocked
tEAm4za
Starts the game with 900,000,000 credits
Hope it works for you, if you still need it!Comment

Re: AR and forza question
I thought to myself, "That first code looks familiar." Then later I realized it was from the original Project Gotham.
Anyway, both of those codes work, but they are big teases. How so? Let me explain...
That first one puts you at max level (50), and all the cars and races are unlocked in Career mode. However, the big catch is that you have enough credits to buy only a D-level car and that's it. Even though all races are now open, you still can't jump in any race you like because you don't have the required car to join in. So you're starting from the beginning in order to stock your garage with new cars.
The second code starts you off with a lot of credits which allows you to buy a few high performace sports cars, GT cars and prototypes. But the problem here is that many of 'em are still unavailable to purchase because you're at Level 0 and have yet to establish any relationships with top super car/racecar manufacturers like Porsche, Ferrari, Koenigsegg, BMW Motorsports, TVR, etc. So you're starting from the beginning in order to level up to eventually open those relationships.
In conclusion, these codes are good for those who have yet to start up a game in Career mode. But for those like myself who have done a lot on your own up to this point before knowing about these codes, you're better off continuing with the game under your own profile instead of creating a new game and profile with these codes.

Man... that's odd that they would do that. Sounds like somebody either fell asleep at the meeting where they explained the purpose of cheat codes, or has a very mean sense of humor.Comment

Re: AR and forza question
I kinda stayed away from Forza for various reasons but now I want to give it a try. Funny thing is, I stayed away from PGR2 for months after it was released and after I finally picked it up, it became my favorite racer on the box (and still is). Is Forza alot like PGR2, or are they very different? To me Forza seems a little too hard (I got that impression from a demo I played awhile back).Unofficial OS Ambassador of "CPU vs. CPU"

Switch (Mario Kart and Zelda)

Eh, I'll make the Forza-PGR2 comparison as brief as I can.
Forza leans a little more towards the sim side than PGR2 in regards to the way cars handle and overall physics. In Forza you race in circuits and city streets, whearas in PGR you're mostly racing in city streets (with the notable exception of the Nurburgring Nordschleife). And the process of completing both games are similar (win races, buy better cars, open more courses, etc.), though getting through Forza will take longer.
I hope this is what you were asking for.

Re: AR and forza question
Thanks Kruza...I bought forza used and I really like it. I thought it would be too hard b/c of an early demo I played awhile ago, but it really is very playable for drivers like me (w/ the assists). I enjoy the city tracks much more than the pro tracks, so NY and Tokyo are my favorite on this game.
It reminds me lot of PGR2, so I'm good. Thanks again.Unofficial OS Ambassador of "CPU vs. CPU"
