If you think Nascar 2003 had pathetic FF compared to GT3, then you had your settings screwed up in Nascar.

Re: Steering Wheel...
If you think you can just plug in a wheel and run perfect in a PC game you are sadly mistaken. Every single racing game I have on PC is configured different. You spend just a couple minutes tweaking and feeling the wheel you can get it setup perfectly.
Lot of different factors on the PC compared to the PS2. Glad to see your happy with it on the PS2 but give it some time on the PC and you will have the same reaction. If not your just the casual racer to begin with and the titles or the wheel wont do you justice to begin with on the PC.Comment

Re: Steering Wheel...
I think it might have been a problem with the nascar demo. It didn't seem to recognize that my wheel was FF and I couldn't find a way to make it do so. I picked up pro race driver and played it for a few hours but the handling was much to arcady for my liking. So I traded it in for F355 Challenge. Now theres a killer game for PS2. Could anyone confirm if its just the demo of nascar season that doesn't support FF or if theres somewhere I have to check a box or something? I'm more than willing to give it another shot. I've been watching more nascar as of late and I am really starting to get interested in the sport.Comment

Re: Steering Wheel...
In the options menu of the game under controls there is a force feedback checkbox. If that isnt checked that is part of it, once you check the box, you need to turn up the percentage of the actual feedback also.Comment

Re: Steering Wheel...
Actually if it isnt letting you check it in the box you need to make sure it is enabled before you even go into the game. The settings for the wheel can be found in the Game Controller section of your control panel from your desktop or start menu. Check the properties of your wheel and make sure force feedback is enabled. The game allows whatever settings are set prior to starting the game.
So if Force Feedback is on, than the force feedback box should be checkable.
Hope this makes sense. If not TERRY HELP, Ive worked on getting a Logitech wheel working with Windows and Nascar but it wasnt an easy task, especially with XP.Comment

Re: Steering Wheel...
I'm using the latest driver from logitechs site. I used to work at thrustmaster so I know a thing or two about setting up controllers. I believe the problem I had was from installing the game and playing it with the keyboard then installing the wheel and not fully enabling it in the game controllers. Thanks for the tip it has been a while since I messed with wheels. I miss that job.
Now I just need to stop playing games on my PS2 long enough to hook it back up to my PC.Comment
