I'm going with the guy that has won the Daytona 500 and the All Star race this year and is the 2003 winner of the Brickyard. Kevin Harvick. He's got a good chance of the path that JJ made last year

I would like to see him follow that path. Thats being serious, not sarcastic. I think he is a good driver and would love for him to get a championship.

When I saw the title of this thread, I was thinking the same thing.

Dale Jr gets one last win with DEI this weekend.

They have done a TON of testing for this race.

I'll be there Sunday (near turn 1) when 24 captures #5 at the Brickyard.

Hoosier, as much as I love going to that race, I wish there was One seat in the house that you could see the whole track.

I know Pocono's is horrible, you can barely see anything. I figured as big as Indy is, it is just like Pocono's. But no matter what it is still fun to go to the races.

I totally agree. But, the thrill of being there, its standing among the drivers as the 2nd most prestigious race of the year, and the fact that I live in Indy, I just kind of put up with only being able to see 1/4 of the track.

I was nice when my wife and I lived in Carmel....we took going to the Brickyard and the Indy 500 for granted, now I miss being amongst the crowd...the night before parties and lining up at 530 am to enter the infield...good times for sure.

Absolutely it's fun as hell going. I can only imagine what The Poco is like trying to watch a race there. Alot of people hate that track, I think it's kinda cool. There tends to be some long runs there, but not as bad as that god forsaken race in California. That race could be the worst race on the circuit.
