    Re: MotoGP 2007

I can't believe there's ONE little thread on MotoGP... REAL racing, with turns and excitement. Then, there's a million threads on Nascar where guys turn one way and the races hours of pain and boredom, driving vehicles that are so juiced up you can't even nearly drive them on the real road. I don't get what the allure is to Nascar. Is it really the crashes? If so, that's sad that the action doesn't drive it. I know I'm in the minority as it's an extremely popular sport, but it just amazes me. I've tried to get into it, but it just bores the hell out of me.... I understand there's a tremendous amount of strategy and the cars are very hard to drive, but to watch cars go in an oval over and over again... bah! To me real racing is where you take real vehicles, albeit modded, against others... in tracks with twists and turns at different angles, along with straightaways, to find out who is the best.

More than that, how can it be exciting on a video game? I guess it would be exciting and enough of an audience with the millions of nascar fans... ah, anyway..

Picked it up but has kind of taken a backseat to Halo 3.

Still has minor frame rate issues. AI has not changed - still as bad as ever only now they also fall with you more often than not. Physics seem to be closer to the first and second game than the last few which is a good thing. Career seems about the same. Bike editing is still pretty crappy as ever. Online is good as always.

Basically if you can live with the tearing and frame rate drops then don't waste your money trading in 06 for 07 like I did. If you don't have any version then 07 - like all the Moto GP games - is a great racer. Its weak spot, the AI, kind of distracts from the career but its still fun. The series shines online but if you are new to the series you are going to be way behind the learning curve when it comes to online racing.

Does anyone still play this game online? I was thinking of picking this game up.
