08, but they transfer over. i've been testing these out this morning and they aren't any good. california is for the old car, and atlanta is setup to run in 3rd gear. i'll post my better ones once i finish testing them, just wanted to get the conversation started. if anyone has good setups, post them as above.

80% tape @ Atlanta? Are you serious? How many laps are you turning? You'll probably blow up 5 laps.

I'm working on a Michigan setup for 09' Xbox 360. Probably be a few days as I am tweaking here and there but slowly getting better and better.

I am having great success with basically the default veteran setups thay have pre programmed into the game. Just select the "veteran setup" from the setup menu and tweak slightly from there.

I can do good in most races with just some tape adjustments and minor suspenion tweaks.

This is a very good site i have gotten a good setup for over 8 different tracks! But this is for Nascar 08, there is almost no difference between 08 and 09 setups, so i put it into my 09 and it works great.

I am working on Daytona if I find a better one than is in the website above I will post my setup.

Same. I'll make sway bar/weight and shock/tire pressure adjustments to the default veteran set and easily win the pole on Legend/Hard, but you'll see some guys online that run ridiculous times...like 27's at Atlanta. That's definitely some setup tinkering there. If you want to compete with the AI, you can tweak the default Veteran to get it a little less chattery and smoother through the corner. If you're going to race online and you want to win against the rank whores, then be prepared to invest some serious time finding out whatever little setup "loopholes" you can find.

Can anyone give me a definite answer as to how the tire temps are read on the setup? For instance: on the LF 200/195/109 and RF 200/195/190. Are these I/M/O for both, or LF is O/M/I and RF I/M/O??

I've got a question for all the racers here. What is a better measurement of how good your car set up is, fastest lap or average lap time? I ask cause I've been working on mine for Milwaukee and the lower average lap time set up produced a faster single lap then the higher average lap time set up.
I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

Fast lap times without shredding your tires
