Re: NASCAR 09 Custom Car Thread

I just noticed that a car I created in PaintShop Pro and then saved as dds in PNet is showing the gridlines and the little orange arrown on the sides of the car. How can I get rid of those?

As for that Tie Dye pattern, I found it as desktop wallpaper searching through Google Images.
The other flames, stripes, and designs did come from various photoshop brushes, custom shapes, and I even found a font of flame shapes that I use often (very nice).

be a chevy and have camping world on the side instead of jim beam. and it needs to be his new flame style

If anyone can do this please e-mail me at [email protected] THANKS!

Reference Layer, make sure its turned off and then save. Little orange arrows are there for reference for the jackman during a pitstop, one of the layers (I don't recall it) should let you paint over them.

*Edit- Overlay Layer is the layer that lets you paint over the marker arrows

You shouldn't have any issues copying and pasting images/logos. Make sure your new layer is on top of the Paint layer or it may not show up.

If you're using logos from MasGrafx, you need to make sure you have all the layers selected or merge them all together or else you will not be copying the entire logo like you want.

I mean when I right click to hit paste, there is no paste option.

You just click and drag you don't need to hit paste since that doesn't do anything.

When I do that then my car template screen goes away and the logo takes up the screen, and then i have to x out of it to get the car template back.

I can only speak for myself in saying this but you have to take into account that doing a custom car or truck takes a good amount of time that can span upwards of two to three days depending on how much time people have to work on them so getting this request fulfilled is highly unlikely, again I can only speak for myself and maybe someone out there will do it for you but don't count on it. (didn't mean to come across as a dick because that's wasn't my intent but just putting the facts out there for ya.)

It sounds like you're pasting as a new image. There should be a command to Paste as New Layer. That's what it is in Paint Shop Pro.

Are you using Masgrafx's logos or just from google images? Instead of copying and pasting directly on the template, create a new completely new drawing and paste onto theew..other than that I dont have a clue what's going on/what exactly you're using (paint program) and doing
