Re: NASCAR 09 Custom Car Thread
To upload you need the car file (dds I believe, its been awhile) Log in with you EA account on EA Sports Wold. N09 has their Paint Booth which you can use to upload. It'll ask you to name the car, select car type (COT, NNS, CTS) and then locate the file to upload. After that go into N09 and you should be able to download it off your locker.
To get into someones locker, add them through the normal means you do outside of a game. That will enable you to see inside someone's locker while in N09 paintbooth.
Quick run down and I'm off to classAaron

Re: NASCAR 09 Custom Car Thread
Great job on these paint jobs fellas. Is there a way to download the dds files to a flash drive and use them without signing in to the EA Locker? My internet connection has been sucking since the hurricanes! Thanks for any and all help.Comment

Re: NASCAR 09 Custom Car Thread
File - Import and select one the .obj model for the car you want (you will need the COD.obj, NNS.obj, Truck.obj from EAs site). This will open a grey 3D model of your car. Now just go to Object - Texture - Load. Now you pick the DDS texture file you saved.
In the lower right quad you will see a max button. This will max that view. Then by holding your mouse button over the icon that looks like two circling arrows you can spin the view in any direction you want. Once you have it placed how you want go into Tools and you will find an option to output to PNG file. It isn't a render but I think you need more than AC3D if you want to get into that.Comment
