*x means list has been submitted
    .................................................. .......

Here is who you can pick from:
    .................................................. .................................................. .....

    ......................
    How To Pick:

Pick the amount of cars based on the place you are picking, if you pick 2nd pick 2 cars, 5th 5 cars, and so on.

Place the driver who you want the most at the top, 2nd most 2nd, and so on until you fill the list based on how many you need.

As i gather the list i will mark off cars from your list that have been taken. I will then take the driver who is highest on your list, that is left.

You can send your list to me by PM or email.

Please dont submit your picks on this thread, unless you want everyone infront of you to know who you really want...

    .................................................. ..............................................

    How points work:

Each week all picks must be in before midnight the night before qual.

If someone picks the Pole Winner they will get 5 extra bonus points

Your drivers total points will be given to you (bonus and finishing points)

If your drivers team is fined for a car related point penalty you also will lose those points.

If a driver is fined for punching someone or saying something they should not you will not lose points.

The Chase will begin when the Sprint Cup Chase does. We will be taking the Top 8.

if there is a tie for the final spot into the chase both will get in. Each driver will be given 10 points for each win he or she has.

The leader in points going into the chase will also be given another 25 point bonus.

If there is a tie going into the chase for the top spot both of the drivers will be given a 25 point bonus.

    .................................................. ............................

Have fun with this, pick every week, because you can gain alot and its a long long season.

If you know you are going to be gone for a week or know you wont be able to pick for some odd reason. Send me a list of 19 drivers 1. being the most wanted and so on down the list, i will then take this list and use it for where ever you will be picking from.

If this is all too much to read, ignore it, have fun, and just pick your cars each week.

5th - 13th is the big thing to watch in the next few weeks, those are the people who really need to watch out. The top 4 should be good to go, and 14th on back will need some big big things to happen if they want to make it into the chase. Only 3 more races left.

As of right now the Chase would be setup like this.

    1. bluengold34 ------------ 5035 (25 point bonus for being in 1st)
    2. ashes1384 -------------- 5030 (3 wins)
    3. joshuar9476 ------------ 5030 (3 wins)
    4. Paint ------------------- 5020 (2 wins)
    5. LiquidCrash ------------- 5020 (2 wins)
    6. mgoblue ---------------- 5010 (1 win)
    7. jct32 ------------------- 5000
    8. Richzilla ---------------- 5000

I feel bad for you Kneebon. You take all the time to do this, but you won't get to reap the rewards in The Chase.

Thanks for doing this as always though. It makes the races a lot more fun since it gives me another driver to root for besides Jeff Gordon.

I can't wait for these final three weeks. I just hope I can come out with a solid finish next week, but I'll be picking 17th, so it'll be hard. My only win does come from 15th pick, so I could get a solid run. Actually, some of my better runs have come from the latter picking positions since I usually curse the guys up front for some reason, LOL.

I'm 29 points closer to 8th, but I dropped a spot in the standings. Sheesh.

Wow, this is exciting! I'm 85 points back with 3 races. It will be tough for me to make the chase because I still have 4 people between me and the 8th spot. But, it sure doesn't hurt to hope. This is going to be a critical week. This is great.

Yeah it is going to be a fun 3 weeks of racing.

Those picking at the back this week that are on the bubble will really need to pick someone they can count on. superjames and richzilla have it the worst this week being in the back 6. But anything can happen during the race to the big names that will be picked at the top so who knows.

What you need to do. (this is all based off of 9th place getting 200 points each week, and 8th - 5th all doing very well also.)

            bluengold34 : 381 points ahead of 9th place.

Must finish avr. 30th or better in the next 3 races.

            joshuar9476 : 299 points ahead of 9th place.

Must finish avr. 20th or better in the next 3 races.

Paint : 277 points ahead of 9th place.

Must finish avr. 18th or better in the next 3 races.

            ashes1384 : 219 points ahead of 9th place.

Must finish avr. 12th or better in the next 3 races.

            -----------------------------------------------------------------
If you were in this last year you know anything can happen as it came down to the last race of the year and it was crazy.

The top 4 in my mind are locked in pretty much unless they have some really really bad luck over the next 3 weeks. But they are all looking for that extra 25 points going into the chase for winning the first 26 race season.

9th-18th will be lined up like this

            9. 4100
            10. 4090
            11. 4080
            12. 4070
            13. 4060
            14. 4050
            15. 4040
            16. 4030
            17. 4020
            18. 4010

They also will get 10 points for each win they have had this season. so cbgatorade0202 right now would have 4060 points at the start. (4030 points for 16th and 30 points for wins.)

Each spot counts towards next year when we get to daytona for the 500

Picking order will be set like this.

            9.
            1.
            2.
            10
            3.
            11.
            4.
            12.
            5.
            13.
            6.
            14.
            7.
            15.
            8.
            16.
            17.
            18.

Re: OS Fantasy Cup - Week 25 - Sharpie 500

Interesting, seems like JGR had more HP than they wanted everyone to know about [deals with the NNS series]

Joe Gibbs Racing got caught in an ugly way Saturday following the CarFax 250 at Michigan International Speedway. The two Gibbs Nationwide Series teams, which have dominated competition in the division this season, weren't working in the gray area, they weren't bending the rules, they weren't finding holes in the rulebook, they were caught cheating.

NASCAR inspectors discovered magnets on the gas pedals of the Gibbs No. 18 car and No. 20 car before the cars were set to be tested on a NASCAR dynamometer, which measures horsepower. The magnets essentially served as stops, not allowing the gas pedal to be depressed all the way for the test, which would have skewed the results to show the cars with lower horsepower than they actually have.

Re: OS Fantasy Cup - Week 25 - Sharpie 500

Yeah, I read about that. Still trying to figure out exactly how this happened.

The way I see it there are three ways this could have gone down.

One, the magnets were put there before the race, but why would you do that as it's just going to hurt you?

Two, the magnets were put on after the race by a crew member. I can't see how that would be possible as there are a million NASCAR officials standing around each car, and crew members aren't allowed to come that close.

Three, Joey Logano and Tony Stewart put the magnets on there at some point after the race. I can't see Tony caring enough to do that. What does he care if NASCAR finds they have more HP. He's not driving the car again the rest of the year.

Thinking about it, there would be a fourth option, and that would be NASCAR officials themselves did it. I really don't believe that's the case, but anything is possible.

Should be interesting to see what penalties get handed down.
