I was wanting to run a NH race this week, but judging by how horrible they seem to be I think I'm going to stay far away.

Re: iRacing after 2+ years
So I have a question. I fast tracked to Class D and have been running the modifieds and late models, but my MPR says I don't have any races that count towards driving promotion. What are the Class D cars that will help me get promoted?Comment

It was official. The modifieds didn't count, but the late models did. Wierd.Comment

Re: iRacing after 2+ years
Well, I did the interview with Steve Myers this morning from iRacing, and it was really cool. He is great guy and full of knowledge. Just when I didn't think I could be more impressed with iRacing as a whole, this interview took it up another notch.
Should have the interview up by Monday at the latest, with a nice little surprise for all OS non-iRacing subscribers.Comment

I also was wondering where the interview was, guessing they are waiting until 50 ncaa articles won't knock it out of view?Comment

Re: iRacing after 2+ years
I ran a few, and by few I mean less than 10, laps at Watkins Glen in the NW COT just now and really enjoyed it. First time in a long time I've actually enjoyed just turning a few laps on a road course. I think once they get tire wear in and stop with the crazy heat build-up after a quick slide things will feel even better.
Can't wait to try the Corvette with the NTM, and hopefully we'll get another current road car with the NTM sometime soon so I can try that as well.Comment

Re: iRacing after 2+ years
Skippy has a much, much higher participation rate, doesn't it? I don't know for sure, but I can always find a Skippy race with multiple splits almost any time of day, whereas it seemed the Vette races had fewer guys running them each cycle.
I thought the Skip was one of the highest-participation road course cars, and if that's the case, it would make sense to me. I'm actually glad it's that instead of the Vette, as I have almost no experience in that car.Comment
