Re: OS NASCAR 11 League(interest-PS3-360)
Thats a big pile of suck. I struggle with that, since EA was able to do it with Nascar 09. As long as a person was on your friends list, you could see their custom paint job. I was able to paint 4 or 5 cars for friends back then, and they wee able to use them and be seen online.

You can use and see custom paint jobs online. You just can't trade them. So you can't make one for say me, and then send it to me to use. The game uses one profile system on each console. So there's one save that contains everything. Instead of your profile and each paint job having their own save file (which would allow for easy transfer on both consoles).

Re: OS NASCAR 11 League(interest-PS3-360)
And I got this info from the Nascar The Game forums straight from the lead developers posts.
I was trying to get concrete info and found a thread where he answered all those questions. Everyone was disappointed on that forum as well.Comment

Well a little good news this morning. Dave( game developer from Eutechnyx ) tweeted this, this morning.
"We're working flat out to get NASCAR The Game 2011 done in time for the 15/2 release date. It's gonna be close, but fingers crossed."

Re: OS NASCAR 11 League(interest-PS3-360)
1. Which system: PS3
2. Username on said system: OhDaesu19
3. Choice of car, and backup car: Anyone would be fine.
4. What nights work best for you: Any weeknight after 8:30 pm eastern. I could be available on weekends with some advanced notice.
5. If you have 2 other guys for teamates, who they are: None but I could possibly ask a couple of my GT5 buddies.
I am a very, very casual NASCAR fan so I don't know much. However this league seems like it'll be a lot of fun. I have the logitec GT wheel and that makes GT5 much more fun to play and therefore I envision that'll make this game even more fun to play (assuming the wheel is compatible).Comment

1. Which system: PS3
2. Username on said system: FRO17

4. What nights work best for you: Weekend would be easy, perfer sat
nights, but could probably attend any night.
5. If you have 2 other guys for teamates, who they are:I could find two friends, or I could team up with 2 current league members. Doesn't matter to me.

Re: OS NASCAR 11 League(interest-PS3-360)
Hmm, I just hope that whatever direction we go it will at least be without any assists on. When it comes to either custom or fixed setups, it really doesn't matter to me. Everyone drives differently so what is good for one may not be for another. Just look at how Gordon is unable to drive Jimmy's car and vice versa. Put me down for being against any catch up logic for a poor driver as that is what practice and setups are for.
While I prefer user setups I am fine with the fixed. Just want to have fun. However if we do fixed setups I'd like to make sure we at least make sure assists are off.
But again... I just want to have fun. So whatever is decided..it is what it is.Last edited by Skyboxer; 01-10-2011, 02:30 PM.Joshua:

Re: OS NASCAR 11 League(interest-PS3-360)
I prefer one set for everyone. because (and i dont know if this game is going to be like it but) in the ea nascar series people used to have very unrealistic sets and beat other guys at tracks like daytona and talladega by 10 or more seconds if was very strange and made it not so much fun. to me if everyone has the same set it makes it a ton more fun and shows who has skills and who doesnt.Comment

But again it's just for fun so I'm game for whatever, plus there's always single player. As long as we have fun then that's what's important. Can't wait to get my DNF's!! lol
Some of the best racing I've ever been a part of was PC Papyrus Nascar. (I'm not great either so I'm in no way saying I'm a TCrouch or anything lol). If I get smoked so be it.
And yeah there are time you get beat bad due to a bad setup or a combination of that and driving.
Anyways as far as setup being wacked in you example: We're talking EA though. If it's done right like Papyrus' then it wouldn't be a big issue. Won't know until we play though.Last edited by Skyboxer; 01-10-2011, 04:16 PM.Joshua:
