The way this guy is representing the game it looks terrible. The way you make it look, it sounds great.

The way I look at it, Blue is a mod (right?) with an official copy of the game who has a lot of credibility on one of the nicest gaming forums around.

The guy streaming the game has a leaked copy, won't show his difficulty settings and seems to really enjoy making it look bad.

I don't see how anyone can draw any conclusions from watching that Justin.tv feed. It's very poor quality. I can't draw any conclusions aside from what the menus looks like.

Blue -- I have one question. When you're online in a race lobby can you make changes to your car setup or are you only allowed to load a setup without making changes?

Well i will have to get it on Tuesday and i'm sure from what Blue is saying it will be hard,I just have a hard time trusting that stream.

just a thought. maybe their is a patch with the game on the actual release date. im buying either way

Ed Martin told me via Twitter that there will be a patch on release day updating some multiplayer stuff.

After watching that stream for about an hour, I'm worried.

It's a buy regardless at this point but I'm nervous again now. If I win every race I'm not going to enjoy it.

I just raced a 38 lapper at Fontana on the Hardest level, with no assist on, and damn...........I could barely stay in the top 10. I had to wrench on my car in all 4 cautions just to creep into the top 10. I melted the hell out of my tires to stay there, and if i had to go one more lap, would have been a blowout.

BTW

Someone asked earlier, if you could physically see the tire blowing, or going down. I can answer this with an absolute yes now. I had a tire blow the hell out, and struggled like hell to make it to the pits. When I pulled into the pit box, the showed the tire, and it was all the way down to the rim.....with just shredded bits and chunks of the tire hanging onto the rim for dear life.

Real cool sequence!!

I watched the guy race on justinTV he did put it on very hard, turned all assists off, won the pole, and from green flag to checkered flag no AI car even came close to him and he won by over a second or two

UGH, this is not what I want to hear.
