Re: NASCAR The Game 2011 Q&A and Impressions
No problem guys, happy to do so......
I am going to jump back on the PS3 and get some more time on the track, mess with creat-a-car. I will jump back on in awhile, so if there is a question I can answer...I will try my best to do so.Twitch - bluengold34_osComment

Blue:
I understand the delay with regards to multiple cars crashing at once and damage however, if it's a small crash, say 2 or 3 cars, is the damage still delayed or does it show up immediately? This might help us explain if it's a frame rate issue when it comes to, "the big one"Comment

Blue:
Someone on the NASCAR 2011 site has said the following:
here is Richard's quote straight from Facebook
"i think its fine, reviewers often get earlier versions than the ones you see in the shops"
straight from Richard Towler himself
Is this guy full of it, or is there a chance you have an earlier build? Could you please confirm as this potentially could explain the damage.Comment

"In the HUD settings are there options to turn of the visual draft lines, points for passing, track map, cars around you, ect.... basically can you turn off/on everything on your HUD?
From what I can see so far, only thing I could turn off was the draft wake
Can you customize your HUD? IE - if I want to play on legend driving in car with no draft meter, no wind trails, no RIVAL graphic and no pop up point notifiers, can I do that? The only customizing I have seen so far, is the ability to take the draft wake off. I have found no options to clear the screen or change the HUD in any way."
still haven't seen 'hud' options?Comment

Re: NASCAR The Game 2011 Q&A and Impressions
Blue,
So my next questions deal with setups.
Have you been winning your races with stock setups or have you worked on the car?
How do the changes to the setup affect the car?
How about small changes like adding half a pound of pressure on the right rear? Does it make a noticable difference to the feel and lap times?
Lastly,
Have you seen and/or felt the track rubber up and if so did the car tighten up for you?
Thanks in advance for answering these questions whenever you get around to it. I appreciate it.Comment

What are your options for the celebrations? Are they mostly generic? I know that Carl Edwards' flip is supposed to be included but I have to know, does the game include the Rowdy Bow? This game sounds great, can't wait til Tuesday! Thanks for all the info Blue!Comment

I also want to test a theory about having less cars on the track, and real-time damage being adminstered in stronger cosmetic application. It could be just a coincidence, but here is a pic taken in real time, with only 5 cars on the track, at Bristol......

Can you change paint schemes of the existing cars, or only the create a car?Comment

Re: NASCAR The Game 2011 Q&A and Impressions
The force feedback is very well done. It's strong, but reacts well.
You cannot paint over, or change existing paint schemes.Twitch - bluengold34_osComment

Re: NASCAR The Game 2011 Q&A and Impressions
Thanks Blue for checking out the set-ups. That is great news. Just like cautions breed cautions...answers to questions lead to more questions.
I was wondering how temperature would affect the car. In other words do you think we will have to make a different setup for Bristol day and Bristol night for example?Comment
