Time for the All Star Race here's the format,



This is what I've come up with so far, the pick selection will be based on Points Standings, but the driver selection will be a random draw.

Let me explain, instead of picking Carl Edwards, or whatever driver, instead a random generator number will pick out a number which will correspond with the Starting Order on Saturday.

An Example- let's say Kodiak draws the number 6. Whoever qualifies 6th would be his driver. Let's say I get 22, means I'll get the Fan Vote in driver, and etc...

25 Points will Go to the Winner of the Main Event. 5 point bonus for winning a segment in the main event

Took a stroll down to the Richard Petty Museum in Randleman, NC today. Got a pass to go to Petty Shops where they were retrofitting old rooster tails from Roadrunners onto new Dodge Chargers, in addition to some other work. They also had a few Richard Petty Driving Experience cars.

At the museum, they had a lot of his (maybe all of them?) old trophies from his 200 wins, in addition to several old cars, a gun collection, a knife collection, and more.

At the shops, Richard Petty was strolling through checking things out. I got a picture with him in there with an old Roadrunner and a new Petty Challenger in the background.

I can't remember exactly Mo do 2 drivers race in through the transfer spot and one get in through the fan vote or is it one with the transfer and one with the fan vote? Either way does Jr get in by winning a transfer or fan vote? I think he will win a transfer.

I was surprised at the amount of cars present in the shop. I also take it that Petty really likes Challengers as there were a ton of them in there!

It was interesting because as we pulled into the parking lot we noticed the distinctive Petty cowboy hat talking to someone just outside the shop, so we knew he was there. And while we were looking at one of Bobby Labonte's #43 cars from 2009 sitting in the corner of the shop, Petty walked by and said hi, so we took pictures with him and had a short conversation before he went on his way doing whatever he was doing.

He has a deal with Dodge that if you own a challenger or are buying one from a Dodge dealership you can have it sent there for an performance upgrade.
