I was gonna finally do one of those big write ups. Something I havent done in a long time, but I just ran out of gas, and couldnt finish it.

newcomer bluestreak10 broke out of his horrid start with his first win.



This week NASCAR heads back to Kansas, for what should be the great race. So here we go with some new questions this week. Will Dale Jr finally win or will he focus on staying near the top of the standings? Will Bob make a decent pick this week? I'm gonna borrow this from Mike,

Pick the amount of cars based on the place you are picking, if you pick 2nd pick 2 cars, 5th 5 cars, and so on.

Place the driver who you want the most at the top, 2nd most 2nd, and so on until you fill the list based on how many you need.

As I gather the list I will mark off cars from your list that have been taken. I will then take the driver who is highest on your list, that is left.

Please send me a PM with your picks. We are all members here at OS, and it's much easier to deal with it all in one place.

If I mess up, please let me know ASAP.

Please don't submit your picks on this thread, unless you want everyone in front of you to know who you really want.

Hey guys I have a question. As this is my first year I am not sure how the Chase is going to work for us and I have an idea if it is not to presumptious.

So my understanding is that the top 8, the ones in the yellow block, (Thanks for the work on that by the way Funky-Chicken) are the one that make it into the chase. So what about the rest of us? Do we still get to pick races and compete for bragging rights?

This is where my idea comes in. How about if those of us outside the chase get to keep picking races through out the Chase for final finishing order for the season. This would keep everything interesting for everybody. Maybe have the final finishing order be the order we pick for Daytona next season or for the Shootouts. Just rying to think of something to keep us all involved through the whole season. If this is already the way it is done just tell me to hush and mind my own business.

Anyway that was my question and my idea, anyone else have some input.

Instead of picking in reverse order of finish, whoever wins the 2011 OSFC picks first for the Shootout. Once all the returning people pick, any newbies who join pick.

As a side note, I have a suggestion for next season. Instead of getting in our picks before qualifying, we should all have to get them in before the first practice.

Also, if we still break it down to 3 groups when picking I say if you pick the pole from group 1 you get 1 point, 2 for group 2, and 3 for group 3. If that idea does not fly, at least reduce the pole bonus to 3. With the new pts system, the pole award should not get more pts than a win.

Also, the pts paid out to the Shootout and all-star races should be reduced as well. Instead of 25, I was thinking 15.

Just suggestions and my feelings won't be hurt if nobody likes these
