OS iRacing Hosted session(Indy and Iowa)

I will be hosting another race this Friday with the Nationwide car and fixed set-up. I am hoping to race a 50 lapper at Iowa, and Charlotte. Same password, and the room name will not change either.

We are actually going to switch from Indy to Charlotte(day) and keep Iowa. We will run Charlotte 1st(60 lapper) As soon as that race is over, I will turn right around host the Iowa race(75 lapper)

Both rooms will be called Operation Sports-Charlotte/Operation Sports-Iowa. We are using the fixed set-up for both. Password will be the same(OSDRIVER)

    1st race Charlotte-Nationwide(60 laps)
    Practice 830CDT
    Race 9:30CDT

    2nd Race Iowa-Nationwide(75 laps)
    Practice 10:15CDT(approx)
    Race 11:00 CDT

Any questions, just ask in here or shoot me a PM.

I am actually going to open the room at 7:00pm CDT, just in case people want to jump in early and test out the set-up. I have it already pre-set to start at 7pm, but don't rush to get in there.....but it's open if you want it.

We figured something happened, I knew you wouldn't pass up on the race for nothing.

            I'm in for both.

What are fixed setups? Is that the base car without any changes to the car such as camber, springs?

Btw: I do not see an advanced setup for Indy.

Yeah I had to have kidney surgery last week so I was pretty doped up. Probably a good thing I didn't race.

Here's the setup we will use at Indy.

Unzip the file and simply copy it to your /Documents/iRacing/setups/stockcars2 chevy cot directory.

It's nothing groundbreaking but it's stable for us Rooks.

Just asking should we set up an OS team speak server, and could we fit one restrictor plate race in one weekend? I know a lot of you guys hate that type of racing but Talladega is my home track and after being a season ticket holder for 15+ years it is something I truly love. As a matter of fact I will host it with the same server name and password we already use use one of my setups. I'll pay out $10 in iRacing credits to the winner. If you get the right set of guys Talladega and Daytona can be very competitive and fun not a wreck fest like you see in the open servers, and I'm sure you guys are patient enough and smart enough o know when to make moves there.

You will have to rename it to a .sto file extension from .txt.

Once your rename it, simply copy it to your /Documents/iRacing/setups/stockcars2 chevy cot directory.

I'm down for a restrictor plate race anytime. I really don't mind either way if we have a Teamspeak server. More than 4 people in a TS room can become crazy though.

Also, Bob and I may jump on tonight and do a little Sebring night with Daytona Prototype and/or Corvette. We will post here if we decide to pull the trigger.
