I hope Jeff Gordon is just getting all his bad luck out of the way early so he can make a run in the Chase...

What happened to Jr? Did he say anything post race? He was lucky to get a top 10. I know that he was trying to race smart but yet again he found himself too far back when it started to matter and it honestly appeared that his car had nothing. I am just wondering if they didn't just baby it in fear of the temprature. I know that he didn't have anyone to push him, but it just didn't seem like he tried as hard as he normally does at these tracks. All of that being said his move to avoid that last crash was awesome.

There was something up with the Hendrick engines, I think Jr's had issues as well. I think.

He was hooked up with David Ragan (not the best restrictor plate driver), they had a big run on the 16&17 on th inside coming to the white while the 2&18 was up high making the lead change, instead of going up the middle or up to the wall Ragan just got to the 16 bumper and checked up killing all the momentum they had, ending their day, taking what i really thought was being in great position for the win coming to one to go or at least a top 5 and being lucky to salvage the 8th place he got. I think if Jr would have had someone directly in front of him that knew what he was doing the results may have been different.

it's a good thing they don't run this race in late july/august.

Had an absolute blast yesterday at Dega. My girlfriends first race. Had a steve carrell lookalike shooting birds at Harvick and for some reason McMurray every time they went by. He was F'n hilarious! He had a Gordon shirt on so maybe they have had some beef in the past or something lol.
They had the scoreboard screwed up or either I had one too many Miller Lites. But, I thought there was one more lap so, I was gearing up for the final lap only to find out it was over! Almost got to see Kyle bow in person. Oh well, maybe another time. I like Brad so it wasn't all that bad. Love how the Aussie stayed up front all damn day and then when it matters he screwed up my chance at a really good points day!

I would like to take over the points standings each week or become a fill in. I have a major that involved advanced engineering math so, while my english sucks maybe i can help do an accurate point deal. Just offering. I would also not mind taking full control and I'll be able to post within 2 hours of the finish. I have alot of free time while at work. So, I feel as though im the perfect candidate for this.
