Is F1 2011 (PC) Still Work Getting?

Would you all recommend getting this game at this point? I contemplated getting the game at the time of release, but never got around to it. Is it still good?

I would be getting it for the PC. I play a lot of NR 2003, as of now, but would like to broaden my horizons with an open wheel racing game.

If you can get it cheap it's worth it, look for a steam sale or the likes. It's got some glitches in the settings area as I always have to reset my steering wheel settings each time I load it up (I'm using a Fanatec CSR). On top of that it'll sometimes decide not to recognize my wheels, even though they work in other games. It's solid though, I enjoy it over 2010 and it's got a little more of a challenge with the AI. Online is fun too. I just picked it up on Xbox since my PC has been held hostage by Geek Squad to replace a CD drive (under warranty, I know it's a simple fix that I would have finished 2 weeks ago lol). Anyways I think if it's cheap you should, if not wait til September for 2012 and get it preloaded on steam, that saved me about 10 bucks.

Oh, and fyi- it's 14.99 on Newegg for the 360 version if you're willing to console race as well.

Yeah, it is still $49.99 on Steam, which sucks.

I definitely want the game as I'd love to have an F1 game (mainly because road courses are a lot of fun), but I really don't want to pay full price considering F1 2012 comes out in a few months.

I've checked some sites and I'm not even sure if many stores carry it in the PC version. I don't really want it for the Xbox 360 as I don't have a wheel for my 360.

I say get it if you can. But you really need a wheel to really see what it's really about. I can't get enough of this game offline.

I just picked it up for $49.99 off of Steam yesterday. I just couldn't hold off anymore and I had a $50 gift card still laying around from Christmas that had yet to be used.

I have a wheel, so that is not a problem.

I am all over the track now, though, LOL! It is a lot of fun, though!

Career mode looks fun and I look forward to starting one once I can stop wrecking on so many turns, ha.

You have to memorize every track. I'm starting to get down Melbourne since that will be the first race of the F1 season, but it's tough!

Offline racing in this game is a blast. It's like the anti-thesis of NR 2003, where online racing is the best thing ever and offline racing is a drag.
