Re: Any Recommendations for a Racing Wheel?

g27 is a solid choice. I play NR2003 and have the wheel set to 540 degrees. Within the game, I'll then adjust the steering ratio in the garage options per track. I set the force feedback to 100, with damping and latency to 0. Works good for me.

BTW, should anyone care, avoid the fanatec csr for pc use. It's a fine wheel, but when playing on the pc for an hour or so, the force feedback cuts out in game.

My trusty ole Logitech Momo (No clutch pedal, BTW) is still kickin.........works just fine with F1 2012, and of course Nascar 2003.

It has a leather steering wheel, too! Oh, the joy! The adjustable pedals look like a nice feature, as well.
Yes, very nice wheel. And if you don't have space/budget for a PlaySeat, I reccommend a Wheel Stand for WheelStandPro, well worth the money, as is the wheel itself.

I'm still rolling with a Microsoft Sidewinder force feedback wheel. been using it for sim racing on pc since the late 90s(at least since Papyrus' Nascar 2 game). still does everything I want and still works great. Microsoft apparently was able to make reliable hardware back then it seems.

for those interested in a g27? if you have owned a previous logitech wheel call customer service and tell them your wheel died. they will ask your serial number on the wheel and sell you a g27 for about 150$. The g27 is a great wheel (imo). i own a fanatec , ms wheel and the g27 and it is def a great choice for the price. I upgraded my pedals to the fanatec clubsports to get more steps of resolution and i really like my racing setup with them. i would not buy a g27 to play on xbox though that part that makes the g27 work on xbox causes quite alot of input lag. (unless things have changed in the last month). If people dont care for the shifter and clutch on the g27 the logitech dfgt is a great wheel for the price also as its normally on sale for 75$ or so. ( it has crappy pedals)
