Re: OSFC-STP 400(Kansas)
I'll only be able to make the Saturday night race probably but I'll be there all day Saturday. If I overpay a bit on stubhub, there are tickets almost at the start-finish, but there are still plenty high up ahead of start-finish that put you towards the end of pit road. I haven't been to a race in 4 years so I can't put it off any longer. Had to skip out on Richmond because of project deadlines, but Darlington will do just fine.Comment

Re: OSFC-STP 400(Kansas)
Darlington is a great race track. It's not too far off I-95 or US-220 (if you are coming from my area, though US-1 and US-52 are two-lane during the final stretch). I didn't enjoy it quite as much as Martinsville, but it's definitely the second-best track I've been it. As I recall, it was pretty easy to get in and out of, too.Comment

So sounds like Darlington will be good, now if only some people had been to Dover. I always have sat on the front stretch when I've gone to raises, but Dover has some row 59's in turn 1 where you can see all the way down pit road and the front stretch for about $10 less than upper row seats on the front stretch. And for $20 less, I can move down about a dozen rows just ahead of the start-finish. But I don't know if being around row 25 kills your backstretch view. Their seat visualizer is poor compared to Darlington's. You'd think people would have more of this info online from personal experience. Only thing I could find is be at least halfway up (25 out of 46 is a good start) and don't sit too low or your seat won't have a back, which almost makes spending the extra money worth it to guarantee I'm comfortable on a summer day.
Never mind, the FAQ answered my question. I'll spend the extra money as row 25 and down do not have seatbacks. I'll pay $20 more for 400 miles of back support.Last edited by Redacted01; 04-20-2013, 10:49 PM.Comment

Re: OSFC-STP 400(Kansas)
I had Jamie Mac, Mark Martin, and Almirola on my list. They are currently 6th, 8th, and 7th. I should get some sort of award if that keeps up. Dat consistency.
As I say that, Martin gets passed.Comment
