    Re: Bristol Week (Predictions)

    I'm still in Bristol.

Today in the race pool I have Jeff Gordon and Brendan Gaughan (1st/14 pick) (Purse: $70). One thing that I can predict for today is that there will be a caution every 20 laps or so until all the rolling chicanes are taken off the track. That was evident in yesterday's Busch race - What a wild finish!

Bad call on Kurt Busch, almost a very good one with Rusty... Poor bastard, he really thought he was gonna get Busch when that last caution came out.

Hell, call me asshat of the week for not calling Kurt Busch. I probably wouldn't have thought it was his turn to lose if I had known he won 3 out of the last 4 and not 3 of the last 3. I bet everybody in that whole track except for Busch wanted Rusty to win (he just needed to time his bump better ).

Count me in for wanting Busch to win, had him in my fantasy league this week. With everyone else I had crashed out, Busch saved me from dropping any further down.

Good run for Schrader, always nice to see him running well..was afraid that with the two lap restart that he would get taken out in something not of his making though. Also, Gaughan was doing a good job, but his finish at the end of the day didn't show it.

What is everyone's opinion of what Junior did? I for one wouldn't have admitted to intentionally spinning out because I needed a yellow.

Doesnt surprise me much, sounds like something he would do. But you are right, I sure would not have admitted it over the radio. Its not like anything will happen to him tho. Ive seen others get penalizied for that, but not for the golden boy.

I thought it was an excellent move. He went as far as he could and needed a caution. Its not like its never been done before. Sr. did it on several occasions. On a short track it makes the most sense as you have a better opportunity to control your spin, and especially at Bristol use the banking to your advantage.

Not like anyone got caught up in it, it was pretty open where he was at when he did it.
