OSFC 2014

Time to fire up the minivan again, as the 2014 OSFC road trip is mere weeks away.

And I have some changes in mind.

Limiting this to 20 folks, with a waiting list to add a few more if I feel it's warranted.

The initial 20 will be OSFC veterans of some sort.

Here's the thought I had.

None of this 26 race to the Chase crap. I want to break it down to 2 segments. With top 5 in points in each segment entering the chase.

So segment 1 would be Race 1-13.

Segment 2 would be Race 14-26.

Points awarded will still be based on Nascar scoring.

Or we could stick with the system we've used the last 5 or so years.

I'm in for another season! I still don't like a Chase period. I finished top 3 without the Chase and 8th with it. I vote none at all... but I kind of like the idea of the first half/second half like some minor leagues. Mixes it up a bit. It gets more complicated, but maybe something like IndyCar where we split the schedule into two types of tracks. Problem is, I don't know if there would actually be enough to get 2 groups of 13.

If you guys would not mind. Now that I am a little bit more squared away and life isn't quite so crappy. I would love to get back on board. Last year was just to tough as this was something my daughter and I did together. If not though I understand.

I'm in only if I can have Clint Bowyer ever race. But seriously, I'm in. Hopefully I can actually remember to make my picks this season.


As for the new chase, I'd prefer that to the regular chase. And the regular chase to not having a chase at all.

I'm in but lets wait until next week to see how NASCAR is changing their points and chase system and maybe base it off that in some kind of way

I was absent last year.. completely forgot to sign up in time. However, I did compete 2 seasons ago and if I remember right; went into the Chase 1st in points. It was all downhill from there...

If there is still room I'd love to get in again this year no matter the format.

Count me in. My coworker friend from last year wants in. He didn't make the cut last year. Just let me know if we got room. He will stick with us the entire season no matter his score.

I'd love to be back in this again. Competed 2 years ago but took last year off as I was extremely busy. I have a bit more time now, and I'm sure I can squeeze in that extra 5-10 minutes a week to submit my picks. Just let me know if you have any space!
