I hate to use this term, but GAME KILLER. I'm sorry, if the car doesn't drive like a real car, then I might not enjoy driving it that much. For God's sake, EA, make a NASCAR game!!!

I'm sorry for my "insightful" commentary, but I'm just expressing my opinion. Most definitely will NOT pick this game up.

            Ephexx:

I agree with your comments 100 percent except for the one about this game not selling. NASCAR Thunder 2005 will sell like condoms on a troop ship heading for port, for these reasons:

            1. It's an EA Sports game.
            2. It's the only new NASCAR game on the market. NASCAR and EA have an exclusive deal.
            3. Dale Jr. probably will be on the cover.
            4. The vast majority of NASCAR console gamers could care less about physics and good racing AI. They've loved all of the Thunder games, when all have been unrealistic garbage.
            5. The "Fast and the Furious" crowd, which probably shunned prior Thunder games because they've been too "redneck," now will look at Thunder 2005 because it has street rods, exotics and street racing.
            6. NASCAR fans are loyal. They'll buy everything and anything NASCAR, even if the game sucks.

An absolute joke by EA, which is a shame considering the greatly-improved quality of some of its recent releases. I thought NHL 2004 and Fight Night were excellent.

            Take care,

I never said Thunder wouldn't sell, I was just saying that it wouldn't sell to me and people like me. I think all of your comments are spot-on. Also, I think NHL 2004 is great .. need to pick up Fight Night some time in the future too.

Hopefully it will be better than the pitiful PS2 online version last year. Oh joy, 1 on 1! I would love to see at least 12 people, with a hope for 16.

I agree with your comments 100 percent except for the one about this game not selling. NASCAR Thunder 2005 will sell like condoms on a troop ship heading for port, for these reasons:

                                1. It's an EA Sports game.
