    Re: RIP Darrell Russell

I'm not a racing fan but it always pains me to hear about someone dying on the circuit. Just like with Earnhardt a couple years ago, it makes you realize how quickly life can end.
According to my old marketing professor, satisfaction is when product performance meets or exceeds consumer expectation.

Programming note: Due to the tragic accident at the event, ESPN and TSN have decided not to air their future planned television coverage of the Sears Craftsman Nationals.

This is a noble move by ESPN and TSN. All NHRA broadcasts are tape-delayed. Not showing an event where a competitor dies, and is known of before the TV showing, is very respectful of the driver's family.

Also, my grandparents, being heavily involved in drag racing (along with their children), have seen firsthand other competitors die. I should talk with them about this.
