I might check it out, just hope the racing model doesn't suck like in the past
Yeah online is only 4 Human drivers but from my understanding the CPU will fill the field. As for offline I know NNC had a full field but not sure about NBS or CTS. I too hope the racing is better and I also hope to see more CPU generated wrecks that we human drivers have to avoid.S.O.S Crew

As far as the graphics go, the Xbox version has looked pretty good the past few years IMO, I can't really speak to the PS2 version, but I would assume that it is going to look about the same.Comment

Re: Anybody looking forward to Nascar 2005?
Yes and No. The yes part is because hopefully they have made it a little bit more on the sim side, but knowing that usually the sim side of an EA game is on PC, I am not looking towards that. Also, its going to be interesting to see how the Chase for the Cup feature is implimented as well.
The No part is mainly due to it probably being a little too much like NT04, with a few new features added, yet the game play being the same.
All of that said, I pre-ordered it yesterday when I went to GameStop.Comment

Re: Anybody looking forward to Nascar 2005?
I was looking forward to this game, until I saw a replay screenshot. EA STILL uses that 30 to 40 second "replay reel" feature in the game. That's a turn-off man! I remember buying Nascar Revolution back in the day. And even though the game was really ahead of its time, for some reason it had such a small after race replay. On a lot of the forums, a lot of us complained, but were told that because of the structure of the game, a longer replay could not be added. Now we come all the way to Nascar 2005, and the SAME limitation is still there. I know the game will be deeper and have a lot more features, but... because of their "replay reel", I have this feeling inside of me that this is just Nascar Revolution 2005!
Maybe a lot of people will not think so, but to me a full race replay is a valuble tool in racing games. Thank goodness for companies like Polyphany and Codemasters. These guys KNOW how integral a replay system is to a racing game. But for a Nascar game NOT to have a full race replay (or at LEAST the last 10/15 laps) system is almost criminal to me. Man, I miss Papyrus!!!!!
