ah yes, the initial surge, i forgot about that....they always pull away from me on the first lap....basically, i just plug along for a while til one car from the field decides he has the mustard to pass me, then i latch on to him and thatll slowly but surely bring you back up to the front-runners, at which time you can blow by him and catch the draft of one of the faster cars and get back in the lead pack for good....at least, that strategy has consistently gotten me top 5's at the plate tracks
also, i found it impossible to drive the Featherlites without being a villain...i tried, i just couldnt make it happen....however, once i got to the truck series i was able to draft consistently and pass cleanly, my hero rating went up steadily from there....as i said earlier, ive just started my first Cup season and my hero rating is nearly maxed now, so everybody loves me, makes it REALLY easy to pass, you just get your nose slightly inside them and they pull up....occasionally i still whack somebody whos pinching me down a little too much, but im so popular that even that doesnt seem to get them mad LOL
