    I am finding it frustrating when I wait forever hoping for a flag to pit...doesn't come, so I pit losing track position...then as soon as I come out...there it is...

      The pitting logic on stage racing is not that bad. It might be different then yours but it makes sense, for the most part. With that said though sometimes it's messed up, but not all the time.

      As far as wear, you can use any setting you want. I do 25% races except at plate tracks and then I do 50% and I always use 4x wear. It just depends how often you want to stop. I like more stops, it makes you think about when to pit and if you want 2 tires or 4, more strategy in it.
