Are you guys playing VC games using the "classic" controller or Gamecube controllers? I heard that the "classic" controller for $19.99 isn't very good, and that a Gamecube controller (in particular a Wavebird) can be used just fine for the VC games. I'm hoping I can just purchase a Wavebird and cover both VC gaming and Gamecube BC gaming.

I opened up my System and it's pretty cool. I created a Mii and he looks just like Jacko I kid you not, in fact that's what I called him.

I'm dissapointed you have to buy add ons to get on the net. Come on Nintendo your making a killing on the flippin hardware, you could have at least added an ethernet port to the system.

Oh well I guess I won't be going online after all.

well, if you have wi-fi there's no cost. I think that's a far better option than coming with a wired connection. more and more people are going wireless, and I can't imagine there's many people that will have theirs right next to their computer.

I'd rather the free wi-fi than an ethernet port.

I also like the wi fi support. I have enough wires everywhere and don't need anymore. In my opinion part of the beauty of the wii is the option to go online and downloand games through the virtual console.

Anyone without wireless NEEDS wireless. That's not a knock on them, just that wifi is it... period. Everything is going wifi and it's so handy it's not even funny. Most ISPs now give out cable/DSL routers with wireless built in!!!

Well I'm apart of the Wii family, I got one for Christmas. I only have Wii Sports so far and I'm having a blast with bowling. I'm most def. going to be picking up another game within the week.
