yeah, i have also had the wii connect on since purchase. havent had any problems with it.

I had moved the system to another TV and laid the Wii flat and I "think" that's where my problem came from (easier access to the Cube controller ports). When I packed up the system I noticed that while the top was warm, the bottom was much hotter.
There shouldn't be any problems with WiiConnect if it's vertical, since it gets the airflow on both sides.
I should be getting my system back next week and you can bet it'll be vertical (I like the WiiConnect).I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be. - Douglas Adams

Ironically, I'm very against vertical systems, but the Wii seemed like it was made for vertical, everything about it screams vertical and it's been that way since launch. So I switched my router because of my regular internet issues, and now my Wii isn't connecting to the internet. At first it gave me error code "51330" and I would keep trying to test the connection, and nothing would come up. Then I cleared the settings and manually put it in and the same thing came up. Now, I cleared the settings again, and error code "51331" came up.
I changed my Wireless Channel on the router from 6 to 1 and still no dice.
What's the deal here? C'mon Nintendo, you're better than this ****.
EDIT: Figured it out. I had to allow MAC filtering (what in the hell is that, anyway?) to my router and had to add the Wii's MAC address to the allowed list.Last edited by TheMatrix31; 08-11-2007, 05:43 AM.Comment

--Shining in the Darkness (Sega Genesis, 1 player, 800 Wii Points): This is the beginning of the Shining series, although it makes some significant departures from it. The series it would birth is probably enough to make it historically important, though not necessarily worthy of your cash. If you're a fan of dungeon RPGs though, go nuts.
