The VC is basically dead. They started focusing on terrible WiiWare games, and forgot the classic games. That and you get 5-6 games, and your memory is gone for the system.

I basically forgot this thing even has VC games at this point.

Is there alot of games a 3 year old can play? I know she can do Wii sports. But anything else? I might pick one up since my lil girl always wants to play my ps3/360 but can't. She has played Wii sports in the past

not really. I know there are 2 Diego games that are easy to play. Just tilt the controller left or right to move and there is a jump button. Think there might be a Dora one too.

What about Carnival Games? My niece was 4 or 5 when she started playing some of the games on there and had a blast.

Mario Kart CAN'T be that hard if you ignore the power ups.


Also, many of the Wii Play games are super-simple. Cow racing should be a big hit.

Three Commodore 64 games hit the Wii today

INTERNATIONAL KARATE (C64, 1 - 2 players, 500 Wii Points): Features man-vs-man karate fighting to the death. Well, not really, but it is karate sparring. Do you need to know anything else?

The Last Ninja (C64. 500 Wii Points): Armakuni is literally the last ninja ever, and takes up a quest to destroy the evil Shogun Kunitoki. You'll have to rely on all of your ninja abilities if you hope to survive this one!

Pit Stop II (C64, 1 -2 players, 500 Wii Points): Enjoy split-screen action, or merely play alone in this C64 F1 racer. It's the first game to bring racing to the home computer and features six different tracks to race on, as well as true-to-life pit stop technology.

5 bucks a piece? Yikes...Nostalgia and all, that still seems pricey for a game I'd play once or twice...

I wonder how much they'd make if they priced these 1 or 2 bucks...much more likely to get an impulse buy IMO.

This^ I'd also go for Summer Olympics. I used to love the diving part of that C64 game.

Of course, you can play all of these for free on your PC . . . but it would be cool to have 1 or 2 of these available on the Wii for a quick play.
