20 years later and I still like Kid Icarus. I remember when it came out playing that game for hours. Well worth the purchase to me.

This one is near and dear to my heart. My best friend had the game growing up but I never did. I'd always ask for it on birthdays, Christmas, but for one reason or another, my parents always wound up getting me something different.
So...to now be able to own Kid Icarus for the first time...a hell of a treat! I played this game for an hour Tuesday night!Comment

I bought a Classic Controller yesterday and it made the VC games much more fun. I thought I would be able to just play them with the gamecube controller, but they just didn't feel right with that controller. It became real evident with Super Mario World. After playing last night with the Classic Controller, it definitely makes a difference in playing the games. I'm glad I got it.

The only complaint I have so far with that controller is while playing Mario Kart. If you do the sliding trick often (which I do), your hand tends to cramp up a bit while playing, especially on the longer tracks.I bought a Classic Controller yesterday and it made the VC games much more fun. Awesome day...except my wife promptly hogged the TV playing 'Donkey Kong Country' all day
Can't wait to relive 'Streets of Rage' and try out the TG-16 'Adventure Island' title, as I loved the original NES ones!
Also, did anyone read the interview with Reggie over at 1up? I don't know how many 'Earthbound' fans there are on here, but knowing that Mother 2 (the SNES 'Earthbound') might land on the VC and the DS, former N64, sequel are both at least being talked about is sweet music to my ears!I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be. - Douglas Adams
