the game is out, why a need for a demo. I think we all know what to expect from NCAA by now.

I'm from the UK though, so I can't exactly rent the game or send a new copy back if I don't like it. I've never played the game before because they don't sell any NCAA titles outside North America (as well as MLB games).

I had the same dilemma when MLB The Show didn't have a demo either.

Yeah, my PSN speeds fly now that I switched to DSL. I got Ninja Gaiden in like 12 minutes when it came out. When I did the Gran Turismo release on Xmas Eve, it was 5 1/2 hours for it using cable.

I downloaded the NBA 07 demo...plus the Underworld and Black Hawk down Blu Ray trailers...all up took around an hour. Pretty impressed as that was my first go on the PS network.

Side note: wow, NBA 07 is a crap game How can SCEA make such a good baseball game an such a craphouse NBA game?

The TV the PS3 will be hooked up to is a 46" Sony Bravia XBR 3, so it does 1080p.

Thanks for the help JTS. Any other "must know details" that should be known? By this I mean possible hardware issues, etc.

The PS3 runs a hell of a lot smoother than the 360.

It's like driving a Ferrari after using a broken down old Ute...

I am happy to have 'converted'. It's nice NOT to have to worry about the freaking 360 freezing all the time / breaking down.

too bad you can't drive a ps3 or it might be useful. no games = dust magnet for me.

The only thing the PS3 has over the 360 is reliability at the moment, other than that it's all 360.

If 360 was more reliability they would have alot on the PS3. That right now is their only prob. IMO

Another new feature focuses on added communication elements: When you’re sending messages to friends on PLAYSTATION Network, you can now use emoticons. We’ve added a bunch of emoticons that can be easily accessed from the virtual keyboard.

Whew, thank God they added this before fixing the friends list system.

You would if your 360 stalled, froze and red lighted like mine. Facts are facts...many of them are like broken down cars.

Every game I wanted I can get for PS3. All the sports games are both + a few PS3 only.
