Well I finally found my solution. I am going to do what others have done and get a 360 from Best Buy with their extended plan. Then when the new cpu arrives I will get one. I just can't justify the PS3 right now. If I am going to play games then I want to play the ones I enjoy and not just play for the sake of playing. The 360 offers me what I want, so it's either that or a new hobby.

I took the PS3 plunge yesterday after trading in my 360 and in the short period of time with it I am impressed. This system has so much variety to offer its unreal. All I have to do now is dump my 3 year old 65' Mitsubishi HDTV that does not offer 720p nor 1080p. Other than NBA2K7 all my games are playing in 480 which sucks. I do have a plasma in the Living room but just don't want to do that. I all, I am officially converted

Wait till you watch a few BD movies on there also, you will completely fall in love with the PS3.

I was going thru the 360 and PS3 release schedule and NOTHING exciting is coming out for either of them till april.

Only game that looks remotely fresh is motorstorm, but I'll be honest I get bored with racing games real quick. And I see GRAW 2 in march.

Im more excited about live arcade and my DS then the big 2.

I have an extra premium 360 that I was going to trade in. I don't feel like being bothered with Ebay. Does anybody know what the trade-in value of the 360 is?

Like $180 store credit at EB games. If unopened just find EB/Gamestop that will trade you full value. That's what I did yesterday. Did not even buy the Damn thing there but they did it to my suprise!!

One other question for you candyman56. Have you heard of Sony fixing the problem with game scaling back to 480 if your Tv only has 480/1080i ?

Here's the other side...If you are mainly a sports gamer, there is no losing out on the PS3. All the sports games are made for it, especially the show. So, if it's just one system and you're a sports gamer, the PS3 may be better. I have both and I am most excited about the Show. Just my 2cents.

Doesn't sound so good for us NHL 07 fans, because the only Hockey game is NHL 2K7 which is still stuck in the current generation and has translated poorly unto the next generation of machines. Theres no way my 360 is traded for a PS3. The PS3 doesn't even have achievements, call me crazy, but I like hearing that chime letting me know I've done something.

I've got the 360, Wii and PS3 and I would have never traded in my 360 for the PS3... the game selection right now is pretty low and most of the titles are available on 360. I would only advise trading in the 360 (if really nessecary) further down the line when more games come out.
