...well not completely dead but pretty much might as well be. It started with Oblivion where the game froze up constantly. Then the graphical glitches came up in Oblivion constantly when it wasn't freezing up. Well I thought (hoped) it was just that game because I could play NBA2K7, CHOOPS2k7 and Rainbow Six Vegas just fine for hours and have no problem. Well last night I fired up Madden to play a friend and to my horror I go into the game and all I see is a bunch of graphical boxes and weird triangles of different shapes and colours with just the players name who has the ball moving around. Tried NCAA 2007 and exact same thing.
I know this is not how most of you guys 360's died. I've never had any rings of death (yet) and it seems the newer games run just fine, but older ones don't. It almost seems as if the 360 itself is fine overall but the video card inside of it is somehow corrupted. And no I've never had any heating issues at all.
Anyways, my next pay I'm going to buy a new 360 at Walmart and exchange it with this one. My question to you guys is, should I keep my current hard drive or not? If I copy all my saved games to my memory card then will I lose anything? For things like themes and games I've bought online, how do I get those back? Will it let me re-download them without charge?
