My x box just crashed and my birthday is coming up, im going to get a new system with my money....which next gen system is the best? I mostly play sports games.

If all you play are sports games then the answer is obvious Xbox 360 especially since you factor XBL. Just get a 2 year in-store warranty. -

PS3 doesn't have many games out atm, so your best bet would be 360, which has a wide variety of sport games.Comment

Not trying to sound funny or anything, but I would also factor in how much work is involved when the 360 dies. The PS3 is more stable, and I think Madden 07 and NBA 2K7 are both better than the 360. However the 360 does have a larger selection of games at the moment.

I agree. NBA2K7 and Madden seem to be play better, but slightly. If sports games are what your looking for, then the PS3 does have Baseball coming out that are exclusives (The Show and the Japanese baseball league game). If it's soccer, then you have a wait till later. NBA Live was also cancelled on the PS3 (but the game was real bad)Comment

What's your price limit? If you can afford it, I would say go with a PS3. 360 is a great system but the PS3 just has more potential to it. If you are a sports only gamer who plays online then get the 360.
If you are a sports only gamer who won't play online too ofter, go with the PS3 because you will have more options for the upcoming sports titles.Comment
