Re: Houston, we have a problem (Roster transfers not working on XBox 360 any longer)
It worked. I made a few changes to DKrause's 4/7 roster (moved Clemens to Yanks, edited Bret Myers) and saved as a different name. Got the update. The original was corrupt, the new save was not. Hope that helps.Formerly Favre4vrComment

Crap.
So, basically, this only happens for XSata users?
. They really scr00d XSata users then.
However, will this only happen if we log into XBox Live and it updates our dashboard? If we don't ever plan to have XBox Live then will they still run smoothly?Last edited by VidGaminMachine476; 05-10-2007, 06:51 PM.XBox 360 GT: XFactor416Comment

Good ol' MS and their overzealous sharing restrictions. Yea the PS3 doesn't impress me with much, but at least they've left the door wide open to share any and all saves you want.Comment

Re: Houston, we have a problem (Roster transfers not working on XBox 360 any longer)
From 360gamesaves.com: In the Spring Update, Microsoft has implemented a new protection against gamesaving by using our gamesave archive against us - they went through our gamesave archive and downloaded all the saves, then everyone who has uploaded saves in the past has had their current local "ConsoleID" values added to a Console Revocation List implemented in the new spring update.
Decrypted Console Revocation List
Any gamesave coming from these ConsoleID values is now recognized as corrupt in the latest update. Which means if your on the list, saves created on your console will now only work on your console. Your transfer privledges have been revoked.
Technicaly they can go to any site and bust anyone for sharing saves and revoke their console!Last edited by freezeframe; 05-10-2007, 07:04 PM.Comment

Re: Houston, we have a problem (Roster transfers not working on XBox 360 any longer)
Explains alot, its one reason i hated people taking our work and posting them elsewhere. I assume FKs will not work either. If thats the case then EA should bodyslam MS because that will kill NCAA sales.

Re: Houston, we have a problem (Roster transfers not working on XBox 360 any longer)
Very interesting.
Tough scenario for us. Question though: to update the dashboard, you have to sign on via XBox Live, right? If so, if I don't update my dashboard, can I still load up DKrause new, future saves (if he does any more?), or is DKrause's roster files corrupt no matter what happens?XBox 360 GT: XFactor416Comment

Essentially this then, if the OS file hasn't left OS, then it's fine. If it's landed anywhere else, the file is dead.
