Re: Official PS3 Discussion Part II
Oh no, I have it set up for the 360 too. Its just my PS3 is a bluray, reg DVD and the Show player right now and I've been using it to watch movies more than my 360.Comment

Re: Official PS3 Discussion Part II
It's quite possible that my 360 will be sold this weekend (it has been giving me trouble as of late, and I'm getting flashbacks to my Core system fiasco from last year) --- which means I will be switching to a PS3. I am looking at the 80 GB version just in case I ever want to get some PS2 games as well...is there a site anywhere that lists what PS2 games will work on the 80 GB version?
And is roster sharing truly as easy as using a USB drive?"And by the way, you know, when you're telling these little stories? Here's a good idea - have a POINT. It makes it SO much more interesting for the listener!"Comment

Re: Official PS3 Discussion Part II
I don't know about a shuffle. I've used just a standard USB flash drive for roster loading and I've used SD cards for putting pictures and vids on my PS3.

Re: Official PS3 Discussion Part II
Roster sharing for Ps3 games is truly as simple as using a USB drive - just download from the net and plug the drive into the PS3. PS2 roster shares are a bit more complicated - they need to be in a certain format for the PS3 to be able to read them. It's either .psu or .psv...can't remember which. It's quite possible that my 360 will be sold this weekend (it has been giving me trouble as of late, and I'm getting flashbacks to my Core system fiasco from last year) --- which means I will be switching to a PS3. Re: Official PS3 Discussion Part II
on some games yes- especially nhl 08, but the hiccup part was fixed with the patch.
I decided to deal with it last year, because I figured this year game developers would do a better job, and they will. also- the blu ray is the main reason i stuck with the ps3, because of its capacityComment

Re: Official PS3 Discussion Part II
That was one thing I missed from my PC gaming days...being able to easily share rosters. I could care less about the achievements on the 360, but not being able to actively share rosters is a pain."And by the way, you know, when you're telling these little stories? Re: Official PS3 Discussion Part II
how do you do the updates for the games, is it like the 360, like when you put the game in it will default you to do a update? Or do you have to do it different.on some games yes- especially nhl 08, but the hiccup part was fixed with the patch.
